Ted Malloch: Brexit Deal Is "Unconditional Surrender"

In the darkest days of 1940 and 1941, during the Blitzkrieg and the Battle for Britain, Germany demanded one thing: Unconditional Surrender.

The invasion of the British Isles was called Operation Sea Lion and it was about to commence to end democracy and the lives of the free British people.

And today in the new Battle for Britain there may be no bombs dropping or dogfights in the air but the barbs coming from Berlin and Brussels over Brexit amount to virtually — the same thing.

Top German MEP Hans-Olaf Henkel, himself a former head of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), said he believes that Berlin — like Michel Barnier and Guy Verhofstadt wants “unconditional surrender” from Britain on everything from the ECJ to the divorce bill, and that this attitude may lead to talks collapsing or worse.

On December 11th the UK Parliament will vote on the poor deal PM Theresa May has negotiated with the EU.

It is a disgrace that gives away the entire store and relents on all the promises made in the referendum and her own election manifesto.

It will likely be turned down by a very large majority of Members in Parliament — from every political party, including her own Conservatives.

No one knows what comes next. There is no Plan B.

Indeed, there is sufficient reason to now believe that Angela Merkel’s overly dominant Germany is the real reason for the demise of the critical and long-lasting transatlantic alliance and the fallout over the UK Brexit.

Germany and France have both actually said any country seeking to leave the EU “must be punished.”

The situation in the UK is a total humiliation and as Brexiters have stated would make Britain into a “Vassal” or worse a “Slave “state to the EU — dominated by Germany.

German culture, as evidenced in its’ recent election, is an odd combination of pride and penance.

Germans cannot resolve their deep inner conflict, which is submerged and crosses generational lines, even if they do not or cannot mention Mein Kampf or the unspeakable name.

Germany may appear uncomfortable in its own skin, as well it should. The tormented minds — adrift between schmerz and angst — exhibit a high degree of what psychoanalysts used to refer to as ‘repression;’

Except that it is not all that repressed any longer.

Today Merkel’s strident Germany is the decidedly dominant reunited bullying European power—in every sense of the term. It can’t help itself.

It demands surrender from what they see as — puny Britain.

The Iron Chancellor (who is referred to as Mutti in German or Mom) has the chance to push all of Europe, indeed the rest of the world around.

Germany, you see, is no longer a defeated, reluctant, insignificant power. Instead, it lurks mightily now as it strove to do in 1939. Its invasion over these past few years just takes other forms. But do not be misled it is all the same — an invasion.

Ironically, Germany is also the biggest NATO laggard at 1.2 percent, even though it has the most robust economy on the continent and a huge current account surplus of over $285 billion, the largest in the world.

In effect, American taxpayers, by paying so much (70 percent of the current NATO budget) are subsidizing European, and particularly the German welfare state.

Such free riding can’t continue and we need to read them the riot act and not just about cheating on Volkswagen emissions.

Germany nunc has realistically become the dangerous Ubermencsh that Wagner proclaimed.

It is also most noteworthy how stubborn Mrs. Merkel adroitly played her anti-American card throughout her tedious reelection campaign.

She said: ”Europe must stay united because it cannot fully count on the US.” Her Socialist, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sigmar Gabriel (a Putin crony), said in no uncertain terms that Trump is,“a threat to peace and prosperity.”

She takes a similar view of Britain as an insignificant island apart from Europe, no longer a party to her European scheme.

Germany wants to be on a collision course with Trump’s America—politically, socially and economically, even if it is a weakling militarily.

It is also clear that it is totally dependent on Russian energy.

In fact, Germany’s former Socialist Chancellor, Gerhard Schroder, is the very chairman of Russia’s Gazprom, who supplies their gas and wants to build a new direct pipeline.

While notable German magazines (Der Spiegel and Die Stern) despicably portray a severed Trump head and a weak PM May on their covers—Germany marches to its own and dangerous drumbeat dragging the entire EU along.

Merkel calls the shots and has said she wants an integrated, unified and federal EU with Germany at the helm and always benefitting from the Euro currency play.

In all honesty, that’s what the euro is — a German ploy for its own export-led growth.

Did you know that Merkel was in fact born Angela Kazmierczak and is part Polish? Her grandfather was a Ludwig Kazmierczak, born 1896 in Poznan – then part of the German Reich.

The family was proud of its Polish roots.

After WWII however they changed their name and moved. She ended up residing in the DDR—the Soviet part of (East) Germany, where she was raised speaking Russian, as a pacifist Lutheran pastor’s daughter.

Merkel’s values are therefore very divided—as was Germany itself.

She embodies in ways the dark soul of Germany’s anguished history. But underneath the boring demeanor is a will to power—a German ambition to reign supreme.

Gone are the common Atlantic values of the past.

Peace, security and economic growth are sacrificed for raw German ambition camouflaged in European clothing. Britain has been usurped and defeated.

Germany is in effect becoming a defacto powerhouse.

What it could not win militaristically in the last war it is nonetheless achieving in a not so secret attempt to takeover Europe and all its institutions, money, and culture, using the façade of the EU as its Trojan horse.

Decades ago a cabinet minister to Margaret Thatcher named, Nicholas Ridley, was forced to resign after has said the EU was “a German racket designed to take over the whole of Europe.” He went on to lament that giving up sovereignty to that body was as bad as giving it up to Hitler.

Back then such language caused shock—today it is as obvious as Wiener schnitzel und apfel strudel.

In turns out the British television series SS-GB may not be so fictitious after all.

In that plot it is November 1941, nine months after a successful German invasion of Britain. Winston Churchill has been executed.

King George is a prisoner and has not been seen in public for some time. His wife and his daughters Elizabeth and Margaret escaped, while the Duke of Windsor, who had earlier abdicated as Edward VIII, is in exile. A British government in exile exists but is not recognised. Swastikas furl in the wind all over London—the Germans run things.

Fast-forward in time to non-fiction, today, before it is too late the US and UK, Europeans too, have to step up and call Germany what it is.

The transatlantic alliance in this century demands honesty and burden sharing as well as common principles and purpose.

If Germany is not on board it can go it alone, realizing the US will no longer pay for it, defend it, protect it, or watch idly as it transforms the continent into a German panzer-like machine and puppet state to which it dictates orders.

Brexit is not about unconditional surrender to a foreign power.

The UK needs to take back its money, its borders, and its laws.

That means honoring the vote of the referendum to LEAVE the European Union—its single market, customs union and the European Court of Justice.

Nothing else will suffice.

European nations of freedom should come to their own conclusions but we Americans should not appease or deny reality any longer.

Democrats Preview Their Resistance Contortions Over MAGAnomics

Why is it the left, the Dems, the progressives are just plain
ugly…could it be the old adage beauty comes from within? That’s it! They
possess NO Beauty, NO love, NO real human qualities, they only bring
weakness to the table and we do not have time to waste on these humans
devoid of real thought. Fight them every step of the way, what they do
to you, do in kind to them. The upshot is that you’ll always be
righteous because when you’re for America, you’re a winner! God Bless
America! BTW I had already seen this interview of the gentleman talking
out of both sides of his mouth….more boring non-speak from the left.
They are so blatantly ignorant, they do not deserve America and should
get out now.

Stupidity IS a National Security Threat!

The Last Refuge

December 3, 2018

This is a painful, albeit rather telling, interview to
watch.  Matt Cartwright has not had the time to fully digest how to be a
good resistance member, whereby he simultaneously argues for and
against the economic and trade policies of President Trump.

On domestic economic policies, specifically trade, President Trump is
essentially carrying out all of the objectives of the blue-dog
(moderate) Democrat party.  However, now the ‘resist we much overlay’
creates a pretzel dynamic for those same democrats.  They are for the
policies, but must oppose the person carrying out those policies.  This
is a goofy preview of what is to come in 2019.

Lost but not invisible in the Cartwright angst is any acceptance that
President Obama never cancelled NAFTA; nor did President Obama ever
challenge the one-way economics of China; both of these confrontations
and resets are favored by the new co-chair of the democrat platform
committee…. but favored/not-favored when Trump does it.

As an outcome of supporting/not supporting, policies they
support/don’t support, what surfaces is a word salad mixed up faster
than a bar blender.

NAFTA bad and USMCA better/not-better.  NAFTA labor constructs
horrible, and USMCA better/not-better; and ending with something about
infrastructure spending that Democrats refused to engage in discussing
throughout 2018, because the economy is on the precipice of an invisible
recession, or something.

All the growth in factory investment and manufacturing jobs; as well
as the lowest unemployment in 50-years means the economy is coming to an
immediate collapse.

Tariffs are bad, they are creating too many U.S. jobs.

75% required North American content in USMCA is bad… it creates too many U.S. jobs.

The furniture industry might return; the electronics manufacturing
industry is certainly returning;  Speaker Pelosi and AFL-CIO President
Richard Trumka shout: damn you Trump and all of this expanded U.S.
manufacturing job growth.   Aiiieeeee.

Democrats want to argue for more restrictions on imports?  Alright, alright, alright – Lucky Day, Lucky Day!

WhaFaSau? or something similar.

The democrats need new linguistics that explain upside-down
counter-reality doublespeak words that can invert themselves and become
something favorable to the resistance.

The bottom-line is…. On the domestic economic agenda, Democrats have
no actual point of opposition that President Trump is not likely to
embrace.  Don’t like the USMCA? Okay, kill it, remember NAFTA bad, and
we’ll go for something even more America First.

But wait… wha, huh?

President Trump directly supports middle-class U.S. workers more than
any Democrat President ever has.   You want more support for
middle-class workers?  Okay, spank me long time bad panda… let’s go for
it.

Hate Wall Street, or at least need to do the pretend to hate Wall Street thing?  Hey, #MeToo smiles POTUS!   President Trump has clearly shown support for Main Street over Wall Street…  that’s what America First is all about.

MAGA Trump hates the multinationals’ and favors the credit unions.  Let’s roll !

Democrats are in a really unusual economic space with the dimension
of their resistance.  They don’t want to give President Trump any wins,
but he’s working on almost all of their ‘claimed’ objectives for
middle-class workers.  If they come at Trump with legislation that
benefits the U.S. economy/worker; he’s all good with that.

So now what will they do?

Pass the word-salad blender, please.

Berlin Vows to Crack Down on Arab Criminal Gangs

Officials have allowed parallel world to emerge

Source: Berlin Vows to Crack Down on Arab Criminal Gangs

Seized
by fears of being labeled xenophobic, Berlin officials have allowed a
parallel world to emerge in Germany’s capital – one inhabited by
criminal gangs of Middle Eastern origin. But is it too late for a
crackdown?

After years of inaction, Berlin law
enforcement authorities are finally taking the growing issue of migrant
gangs seriously. The city’s government on Monday announced a crackdown
on migrant criminal gangs, unveiling a five-point plan which they said
would help tackle the issue. Their new crime fighting strategy includes
enhanced cooperation between police and the prosecutor’s office, as well
as social welfare and youth services. Together they hope to crowdsource
information-gathering on gang activities.

Other measures will
involve harsher punishments for minor violations committed by gang
members and a system of youth crime prevention, which is designed to
help young gang members avoid becoming career criminals.

Ethnic clans

The
exact number of the gangs or of their membership is apparently unclear.
However, around a dozen such groups are known to German police. A
report by the Tagesspiegel daily claims that there are several “Arab
clans” that, together, comprise some 200 members. However, there may in
fact be more, as members are usually extremely tight-lipped about their
criminal ties.

Commonly known as the “Arab clans,” these criminal
groups in fact come from various backgrounds but are all of Middle
Eastern origin. The list of gangs known to police includes Palestinian
gangs as well as groups consisting of Turkish Kurds and refugees that
fled the Lebanese Civil War, Germany’s Focus magazine reports.

The
gangs are also reported to maintain ties with their countries of
origin. Its members, who are often already third generation migrants,
still identify themselves not as Germans but as Arabs, the daily added.

Parallel society

Over
the decades, the gangs have created a parallel world in the German
capital as they built their vast criminal networks consisting of
numerous shady businesses financed through ill-gotten gains. Some
criminal groups have been active in Berlin for almost half a century, as
their first members arrived in Germany in the 1970s.

In July,
Berlin police discovered and confiscated as many as 77 real estate
assets belonging to just one such family, which were all bought with
criminal money. The confiscated properties were worth a combined €9.3
million ($10.5 million).

The gangs are usually involved in the
drug trade as well as robberies. Several such groups were behind a
number of recent high-profile cases that made headlines in Germany and
beyond.

High-profile crimes

In December
2014, five members of a criminal gang broke into two jewellery stores in
a shopping center located in Western Berlin not far from the Berlin Zoo
and the famous Tiergarten Park. Armed with axes and machetes, the
masked robbers stormed the facilities in broad daylight, pepper-spraying
shoppers and injuring 13 people. They managed to steal Rolex watches
and jewelry worth €817,000 ($923,050) before fleeing the scene.

Although
the raiders were later caught, the police still failed to find the
valuables they stole, German media reported. In March 2017, another
ethnic gang stole an extremely rare commemorative coin in a daring,
middle-of-the-night heist that targeted the world-famous, UNESCO-listed
Bode Museum in Berlin.

The coin they stole was known as the ‘Big
Maple Leaf’ and was issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2007. The coin
is reportedly worth €920,000 (around $1 million) in its current form.
The 100kg of gold, however, would sell for roughly €3.7 million ($4.2
million) at current market value. The coin has not been found yet, with
the police believing that the culprits might have actually melted it
down.

More recently, German police report a spike in gang
violence, as rival ‘families’ have been launching attacks against each
other for weeks. In one such attack, a notorious gang member and repeat
offender was shot down near the now-defunct Berlin Tempelhof Airport.
Police then had to guard his funeral in order to prevent any further
violence. Notably, the ceremony was attended by some 2,000 people,
according to local media reports.

Fear of ‘xenophobic’ label?

One
of the hurdles facing German law enforcement is the risk of being
labeled as xenophobic for going after migrant groups – even if they’re
criminals.

An association of Berlin criminal defense lawyers has
even questioned the notion that “clan crime” exists, arguing that the
term is too vague.

Hannes Honecker, the head of the association,
said that speaking about “clan crime” is taking a page from right-wing
populists like Alternative for Germany (AfD), a right-wing political
party that is gaining traction in Germany. He added that such
“depreciative” rhetoric conjures the picture of “large homogenous …
criminal families, which do not exist.”

Meanwhile, according to
Focus, the German police have long preferred not to systematically
target the ethnic gangs, treating their crimes as isolated cases
instead, precisely out of fear of being labeled xenophobic.

But as
the criminal gangs continue to consolidate their presence in Berlin,
Germany may have to put aside political correctness and opt instead for
safer streets.
