Apple Says It Is ‘Monitoring’ The Infowars App; Threatens To Censor If It Becomes ‘Harmful’

Infowars App has shot to number one on the charts after big tech censorship

Apple, which removed all Alex Jones material from it’s iTunes and Podcasts platforms earlier this week as part of a coordinated big tech purge, has addressed the fact that the Infowars app is still available in the App store.

The company has been under intense lobbying, spearheaded by CNN, to remove the Infowars app in addition to the banning of all other content.

The app has shot to number one in the news charts, above the likes of CNN and BBC, in the wake of the digital shutdown of free speech by Apple, as well as Facebook, YouTube, Spotify and a host of other companies.

Apple admitted that it has not killed the Infowars app, despite intense pressure to do so, because it has not violated any terms of agreement.

“We strongly support all points of view being represented on the App Store, as long as the apps are respectful to users with differing opinions, and follow our clear guidelines, ensuring the App Store is a safe marketplace for all,” the company said in a statement.

However, Apple did note that it is monitoring the Infowars app, and issued a subtle threat that it could kill it any time it please.

“We continue to monitor apps for violations of our guidelines and if we find content that violates our guidelines and is harmful to users we will remove those apps from the store as we have done previously.” the statement reads.

It is not difficult to imagine Apple removing the app, given that it claimed the Infowars podcast material violated the company’s ‘hate speech guidelines,’ although it was never made clear exactly what part of the content did so.

Apple’s App Store review guidelines for developers notes that prohibited material includes “content that is offensive, insensitive, upsetting, intended to disgust, or in exceptionally poor taste.”

The censorship of Alex Jones’ network resulted in an immediate swell in visitors to Infowars.com, and with the Infowars Official app shooting from 47th to top of the News category of the App Store in just two days.

Even non-official Infowars apps climbed into the top rankings of the App store as a result.

Reports suggested that the decision by Apple to censor Infowars was taken by the company’s CEO Tim Cook and senior vice president of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue. In other words, it came from the very top.

Video footage shows a masked Antifa thug smashing a security guard over the head with a megaphone as a group of irate leftists attempt to storm Portland City Hall.

The chaos began when the group showed up to protest claims of police brutality during a counter-demonstration against the Patriot Prayer group on Saturday.

“One demonstrator, who was masked and wearing a baseball helmet, smashed a security guard over the head repeatedly with a megaphone. The guard was seen afterward clutching a bag of ice, a bruise beginning to form on his cheek,” reports the Oregonian.

The group also later attacked a woman, City Hall security chief Dorothy Elmore, who said she was struck by a protester in the arm.

The irony of leftists complaining about being injured by police while some in their group simultaneously attacked and injured people who had nothing to do with the demonstration appeared to be lost on them.

Proving once again why Antifa wear masks – so they can commit violent crimes – the individual responsible for the assault made sure to hide his face.

The mainstream media still largely refuses to accurately report that Antifa is a violent organization which attacks innocent people, despite the group being designated as a terrorist outfit by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security.

Meanwhile, Eric Clanton, the Antifa professor who smashed a man in the head with a bike lock during a free speech rally in Berkeley last year, causing serious injury, just struck a probation deal and will avoid jail despite committing a violent assault that could have resulted in the death of his victim.

ICE employee continued posting pro-Clinton messages despite warnings, Office of Special Counsel says

An employee of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agreed to resign this week after admitting she posted more than 100 social media messages during work hours or on agency property in 2016, urging people to vote for Hillary Clinton.

The disclosure came in a news release from the U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC).

The agreement between the employee and the OSC includes a five-year ban from working in the federal government, the statement said.

The posts were considered a violation of the federal Hatch Act, which prohibits most government employees from engaging in most political activities while on duty, the release said.

The woman continued the behavior despite being approached by ethics watchdogs, the OSC said.

“When a federal employee emphatically and repeatedly engages in political activity while on duty or in the workplace, OSC takes that very seriously,” Special Counsel Henry J. Kerner said. “This employee thumbed her nose at the law and engaged in vocal partisan politics both with her colleagues and on social media.

“Considering her knowledge of the Hatch Act and continuing disregard for the law, this employee’s resignation and debarment from federal service are proportionate disciplinary actions. This case serves as an important reminder that federal employees must be mindful of the Hatch Act’s prohibitions, especially given the upcoming midterm elections.”

Most federal employees are allowed to engage in political activities during their personal time.

A registered Democrat shot his neighbor in Tampa after a political disagreement on Facebook, according to police and local media.

Brian Sebring was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed firearm after he allegedly drove to the home of Alex Stephens and shot him in the buttocks and leg, officials stated.

“After receiving several explicit messages and threats, the defendant responded to the victim’s home to confront him in reference to the messages,” police say, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

The Times reports that Sebring arrived at Stephens’ home armed with a Glock handgun and AR-15 rifle, and “honked his horn and waited by his truck for Stephens to appear.”

“Stephens came out of the home and charged toward Sebring, police said, and that’s when Sebring fired two shots with the Glock.”

While it is still unclear the nature of the political dispute, the Times reports that Sebring is “a registered Democrat who follows Barack Obama on Twitter.”

The Times has identified this Facebook page as belonging to Sebring, and an examination of past posts indicate its owner’s likely opposition to President Donald Trump.

Sebring reportedly turned himself in to police, and Stephens was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
