Rand Paul Says He Will Do “Everything Humanly Possible” To Abolish Patriot Act

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul has declared that he intends to do “everything humanly possible” to end the draconian Patriot Act, the legislation enacted after 9/11 that has led to mass government spying on Americans and all manner of other desecrations of liberty.
“I’ll do whatever it takes to stop it,” Paul said in a CNN interview.
Paul says he intends to filibuster the proposed reauthorization of Section 215 of the Patriot Act, the specific area of the legislation used by the government to justify NSA snooping.
“I will do a formal filibuster. Whether or not that means I can go to the floor, some of that depends on what happens because you’re not always allowed,” Paul said.
Big Brother advocating Senate Republicans are pushing for the reauthorization of the legislation without any reform. The bill will need 60 votes in order to pass.
Speaking as to whether Paul would repeat his epic 13 hour speech on drone strikes from last year, the Senator stated “Nobody can predict how long you can talk, but I plan on doing everything humanly possible to try to stop the Patriot Act.”
“Whether that happens or not, I will filibuster the Patriot Act, and I’ll do everything I can to try to adhere to the courts — the courts have now said the bulk collection of records is illegal,” Paul urged, adding “They should stop immediately.”
Paul noted that it will be difficult to push for an end to the Patriot Act due to the fact that the lawmakers on the Senate Intelligence Committee are somewhat untouchable.
“The people on our side who believe in the Constitution, Bill of Rights and privacy, we have a more difficult time though because they don’t give us the intelligence information,” he said.
“I can see very little. The Intelligence Committee gets to see 100 times more than I get to see, and the thing is [you’re] getting information given to you by people who believe in this bulk collection of records…so you’re only getting one side. We don’t get a two-sided evaluation of any of this.” Paul added.
Paul also warned about the overreach of government power in general.
“What Madison said about government, what Madison said about laws, is that if government were comprised of angels, we wouldn’t have to worry about giving them power,” the Senator said.
“Government will never be comprised of angels and that’s why whether there’s been an abuse or not, I worry about restraining power and making them.” Paul added.
In a further public appearance in Philadelphia Monday, Paul repeated his vow to end the Patriot Act, stating “Our Founding Fathers would be appalled to know that we are writing one single warrant and collecting everyone’s phone records all the time.”

A recent poll commissioned by the American Civil Liberties Union found that 60 percent of Americans oppose NSA mass spying, regardless of political affiliation, ideological beliefs, and age and gender divides.

EXPLOSIVE NEW DOCUMENTS REVEAL OBAMA, CLINTON SPIN AND LIES ON BENGHAZI
Administration knew about gun running, knew attack was planned, not spontaneous, knew rise of ISIS was a threat

Judicial Watch has obtained and released documents today that conclusively prove that the Obama administration lied and engaged in spin over the Benghazi attack on the US consulate on September 11, 2012.
Fox News reported on the documents, obtained via FOIA request, noting that they reveal three key facts.
1. The US had full knowledge of gun running from Benghazi to Syria before the attack.
2. The Obama government knew shortly after the fact that the attack was planned at least 10 days in advance, deliberately to coincide with 9/11, and was in retaliation for a drone strike that killed an al Qaeda strategist.
3. The rise of ISIS and the establishment of a caliphate was predicted by US intelligence in 2012.
The three facts are key, because they reveal that the Obama administration lied and deliberately attempted to spin the facts concerning the Benghazi attack, during which four Americans were murdered.
“The Obama administration says it was a coincidence that [the Benghazi attack] occurred on 9/11. In fact, their intelligence said it wasn’t a coincidence, and in fact, specifically the attack occurred because it was 9/11,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said.
A Defense Intelligence Agency memo dated Sept. 16, 2012, and shared with the National Security Council, the State Department and the CIA, stated that “The intention was to attack the consulate and to kill as many Americans as possible to seek revenge for the [U.S.] killing of Aboyahiye (Alaliby) in Pakistan and in memorial of the 11 September 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center buildings.”
Despite this knowledge, the President and countless administration officials lied and said that the attack was a spontaneous response to a viral YouTube video about the Prophet Muhammad.
Another DIA memo from around the same time predicted the rise of radical militants who would eventually form ISIS. This information was disseminated in intelligence circles almost a year and a half before Obama played down the extremist threat, referring to ISIS as the “jay-vee” squad.
A third DIA memo, dated Oct. 5, 2012, conclusively proves US intelligence agencies were fully aware weapons were being transferred from Libya to Syria before the attack, a fact that Hillary Clinton denied having any knowledge of under oath.
Clinton was questioned by Senator Rand Paul about the gun running program in January 2013, more than three months after the DIA memo was issued.
Clinton told Paul “I do not know. I don’t have any information on that.” when Paul, rightly as it turns out, accused the Obama administration of running guns to Syrian rebels.
Yesterday, Paul again repeated sentiments that Clinton’s role in Benghazi attack should “forever preclude her” from running for the presidency.
As highlighted in the Fox News piece, former CIA Director Mike Morell recently dodged questions about the gun running, saying he “Can’t talk about it,” but suggesting that CIA agents were tracking the movement of weapons, and that the US government was supporting the program.

A Special Forces unit based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina is conducting joint exercises with a local police force in and around Columbia, South Carolina this week.
The exercises, which involve the 3rd Special Forces Group and the Richland County Sheriff Department’s SWAT team, will be taking place during late-night and pre-dawn hours and will run until May 15.
Columbia CBS affiliate WLTX reported to area residents:
Military and sheriff’s department vehicles will be traveling in the Lower Richland County community near Eastover and Hopkins, in Elgin near Screaming Eagle Road, and North Richland County in the Monticello Road area. The sheriff’s department says people in those areas may also hear ordinance being set off or shots being fired. They say those will be simulations or blanks and do not pose a risk to the community.
County Sheriff Leon Lott told CBS that his deputies “will provide simulated scenarios for the military.” According to Lott, the county offers an ideal training location that cannot be replicated on Fort Bragg.
Richland County encompasses Columbia and is the second most populous county in South Carolina with over 400,000 residents.
Announcement of this joint military/civilian exercise comes as many Americans are already skittish about the military conducting training among the civilian population, most notably with Operation Jade Helm 15.
As reported by Western Journalism, the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) is launching Jade Helm 15 this summer, which is a series of military exercises across the southwestern states that will include special forces from all four branches. Some Americans speculate that Jade Helm is training the military to suppress rebelling citizens in a coming civil war, whereas the Army refers to it as ‘Realistic Military Training.’
Texas, Utah, and a small portion of California are listed as hostile territory on the training map, which raised concerns particularly in the Lone Star State.
In response to public feelings ranging from a simple desire for more information to discontent, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, took the matter up directly with the Defense Department. “I have no reason to doubt” the assurances of the Pentagon about the exercises, he said; “but I understand the reason for concern and uncertainty; because when the federal government has not demonstrated itself to be trustworthy in this administration, the natural consequence is that many citizens don’t trust what it is saying.”

“When the federal government begins, even in practice, games or exercises, to consider any U.S. city or state in ‘hostile’ control and trying to retake it,” added Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, “the message becomes extremely calloused and suspicious.”

A school in Texas has defended its use of a frigid “focus room” where one child claims to have been isolated for more than two days.
Parents Lillian Borjas and Trevor Snowden were disturbed to discover the punishment being meted out to their child at the Carl Schurz Elementary School in New Braunfels.
A blog post entitled The “Focus Room” Horror first published details last week regarding 9-year-old Alex’s claims, accompanied by photos taken by the boy’s mother of Alex sitting in the corner of the room with his hands tucked inside his shirt.
Alex’s mother says she was denied access to the room four or five times before the school’s vice principal escorted her to see her son.
“Immediately Alex’s mom pulled out her phone and started taking pictures as the vice principal tried to block her,” the blog states, adding the mother was also unable to re-enter the room in order to photograph the thermostat.
Photos show the young boy huddled in the corner of a small room, in addition to a “hastily drawn” circle in the middle of the floor where Alex was reportedly ordered to sit for an hour and a half in order to earn classroom minutes.
Alex told his parents the room is “where bad children go and serve their in-school suspension (ISS).”
Asked how often he’d been subjected to the room, Alex responded, “Almost every day, once for two straight days.”
“I asked if I could get my jacket and was told no,” Alex said.
Meanwhile, “the teach [sic] put her own jacket on and said ‘It’s sure nice to be warm,’” Alex claims.
The boy went on to assert he’s not allowed snacks, bathroom breaks or exercise when in isolation.
“If you have a son or daughter attending Carl Schurz Elementary I strongly encourage asking your child about the ‘Focus Room’,”the blog’s author cautioned, adding “go to the school and ask to see it for yourself, insist on it.”
“Isolated, cold, confined to a circle drawn on a floor of a featureless room. Think about that for minute. Who else deploys such tactics? And under what circumstances?”
Admittedly, Alex’s parents confirm he sometimes acts out, and that he was recently diagnosed by a pediatrician as having ADHD, which would make it difficult for him to sit still inside of the circle.
The district defended its use of the space, highlighting the difference between a “focus room” and “safe rooms,” which are used during emergencies.
“A ‘FOCUS Room’ is a classroom environment that allows for behavior intervention such as social skills and counseling,” the district expressed in a letter.
“What it is, is a space that the child can focus their energy,” a spokesperson for the New Braunfels Independent School District explained, professing, “You’ll find it in any school district, in any school in the state.”
On Friday, the Texas Education Agency lodged a complaint against the district alleging faculty may have violated the Texas Education Code, namely a provision prohibiting educators from confining special needs children to secluded areas “contain[ing] less than 50 square feet of space.”
As for the temperature of the room, school officials noted, “It’s set district-wide at a certain temperature. There was no intentional way to keep that child cold in that room.”
The boy’s parents declared this is the last year Alex will be attending public school.
“He will be home schooled,” Borjas told KXAN.

Atlanta to Become a “Welcoming City” to Illegal Immigrants

Last week, WND reported that, on April 23, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed signed an agreement with U.S. Customs and Immigration Services (USCIS), making Atlanta a “welcoming city.”
“Reed became the nation’s fourth mayor to embrace the White House push to roll out thewelcome mat for new immigrants and refugees and remove barriers to citizenship. Critics say the program has little to do with creating new citizens and everything to do with creating new Democrat voters.”
Yet, is that not one in the same? Does not the conventional wisdom dictate that these new legal residents will be democrats as a rule? Come to America – settle in one of our “welcoming cities.” We’ll give you free housing, food, schooling, etc. Of course, none of it is really free, but you don’t have to worry about those pesky details. The city will just raise everyone’s taxes to pay for you. In exchange, all you have to do is register as a democrat and vote as you’re told, when you’re told.
Oh, and don’t worry about any possible backlash from the current city residents. After all, they were stupid enough to elect us.
The three other Mayors who already signed similar deals signed are Rahm Emanuel of Chicago, Eric Garcetti of Los Angeles, and Karl Dean of Nashville.
Okay – I get Chicago and Los Angeles, but Nashville? Has Nashville always been liberal, or is it just a recent phenomenon. I guess that’s irrelevant, being that it evidently is now.
“Reed told the AJC [Atlanta Journal Constitution] those governors and mayors who don’t welcome refugees and immigrants will eventually be seen as having been ‘on the wrong side of history’ and ‘they’re also on the wrong side of the economy.'”
“City spokeswoman Melissa Mullinax told WND that Reed began working with Welcoming America more than a year ago,” in preparation for the signing.
“Welcoming America is headed by David Lubell, a close associate of President Obama who met with the president when he announced his executive amnesty plans in Nashville last November. Lubell’s group was hatched in 2010 with $150,000 in seed money from billionaire George Soros and is now flush with federal grants,” writes WND.
Okay, I was mistaken. Instead of just these cities fitting the bill, it will be all of us paying these hard working families to settle here. Silly me, thinking Obama wouldn’t spread the misery equally.
Speaking of “the wrong side of the economy” and hard working families who come here just looking for an opportunity to live the American dream—what will they do when they settle into their new adopted home cities?
Let’s take a quick look at the employment situation in Atlanta. In September 2014, it was determined that the state of Georgia had the highest unemployment rate in the nation, at 8.1%. Now we all know that 8.1% isn’t the real number. If 8.1% is the published number, it’s really in double digits—probably at least 13-14%.
In February 2015, the rate for Atlanta was said to have dropped to 7.1%, the same as Chicago. This number is also nowhere close to the real unemployment rate.
In 2011, BET.com reported that the black unemployment rate for Atlanta was 24.1%. Considering what we know of the Obama economic recovery, do we think it’s dropped considerably in four years, if at all?
So this jerk Mayor of Atlanta, along with his compatriots, has signed on to a plan to bring more poor, unemployed people to his city, where the unemployment rate is already ridiculously high, to compete for the few low wage/low skilled jobs which are available?
That’s really looking out for “your people,” Mr. Mayor. But just like the political whores in Washington, what should we expect from a party-man who will sell his current constituency down the river in favor of a new permanent voting block?

Obama Is Creating a World Police Force While Destroying the U.S. Military

In the recent past, I have documented how Jade Helm is, in some measure, about gun control and the use of foreign troops to enforce martial law. As if this is not offensive enough to the American people, these two factors, when combined, add up to the fact that the United States is creating a World Police Force.
Jade Helm and the UN Small Arms Treaty
Jade Helm will consist of gun confiscation and there is ample evidence pointing to this strong possibility and it started with a very concerning act that involved the Secretary of State, John Kerry, and President Obama as Kerry signed the illegal and unconstitutional UN Small Arms Treaty which effectively bans all private ownership of guns. There is one provision in the treaty that has received absolutely no attention in our mainstream media and that is the section having to do with confiscation and the use of foreign troops:
State parties to the ATT (i.e. UN Small Arms Treaty) “may seek assistance” in implementing the Treaty. The ATT indicates that a voluntary trust fund was established to promote the establishment of a multinational gun confiscation program. This statement brings in the “legitimized” use of foreign troops in order to enforce international law on American citizens in direct opposition to the Constitution.
More proof for Jade Helm morphing into a gun confiscation drill comes from the United Nations itself. Under the heading, “Hiding in plain sight”, the United Nations previously advertised for the following position in the Summer of 2014:

Nobody seems to be talking about this illegitimate imposition of foreign troops on our soil and this notion is represented in the phrase “conflict/post conflict management“!What conflict/post conflict management? Conflict management is another euphemism reserved for one of two possibilities. First, this implies there will be a civil war, hence, we have one of the reasons for the Jade Helm 15 drills. Or, that the U.S. has been conquered at the time that Jade Helm goes live and this is about disarming individual American citizens.
Ask yourself, what would be the one thing that this administration could do that would guarantee a violent response from many of the American people? That one thing would be to start seizing private guns. Foreign troops will be operating under the UN flag in the pursuit of this agenda. Obama is in the midst of purging the military leadership who will not blindly obey him and that means, in part, being willing to necessarily and indiscriminately firing upon American citizens who would resist having their Second Amendment rights obliterated by this present administration. Secondly, in order to create the manufactured need to impose martial law, the administration would need a pretext, a false flag event. I have been covering the pretext possibilities for over a year. In fact, the pretext has been rehearsed repeatedly since the Summer/Fall of 2013, when 386,000 foreign troops trained on American soil to (1) learn to speak English; (2) learn how to use American guns; and, (3) fight in an urban environment. This DHS/FEMA drill was clearly about the imposition of martial law upon the citizens of this country through the use of foreign mercenaries.
If this was all that would be reported in this article, it would be disturbing enough. However, the convergence of these two developments, coupled with both UN and State Department documents makes it clear that this administration is creating a World Police Force.
The Revised START Treaty Introduces the World Police Force
The United States introduced, at the Sixteenth General Assembly of the United Nations, a Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World.
From a Constitutional perspective, this document implements some outrageous policies and is the kind of stuff that Senator Joe McCarthy feared the most. Today, if McCarthy read his famous statement “I have a list of 57 State Department employees who are card carrying members of the Communist Party….”, he would be correct!
The newly revised START treaty contains the following disturbing statements regarding US policy with regard to disarmament?
“Disarmament: Under Article VI of the NPT, all Parties undertake to pursue good-faith negotiations on effective measures relating to cessation of the nuclear arms race, to nuclear disarmament, and to general and complete disarmament” (State Department Document entitled “Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons” Page 3, Release Date May 11, 2015 which is an update of an earlier 2010 START agreement with Russia). I was sent copies of this agreement by an insider. This information has not been released to the media as of this printing.
It is within this agreement that find the first rumblings of an international effort, backed by Obama to neuter our nuclear forces:
“President Obama stressed that “We need more resources and authority to strengthen international inspections.” Parties can advance this goal at the Review Conference by supporting universal adherence to the Additional Protocol, endorsing the Protocol as the standard for NPT verification and the supply of nuclear material and technology, and by advocating that the IAEA is given the resources that it needs to accomplish its mission” (Page 14).
The above statement is about subverting national power and sovereignty and becoming a secondary entity in comparison to the United Nations. This is the loss of American sovereignty.
These radical policies are embraced by the Obama administration as these treasonous principles have appeared in State Department literature before:
“The disbanding of all national armed forces and the prohibition of their reestablishment in any form whatsoever other than those required to preserve internal order and for contributions to a United Nations Peace Force
The armed forces of the United States and the Soviet Union would be limited to 2.1 million men each (with appropriate levels not exceeding that amount for other militarily significant states); levels of armaments would be correspondingly reduced and their production would be limited”.
Do you remember when Obama announced that he was reducing the size of the military to pre-World War II levels? This action was the fulfillment of the desire of the globalists to disarm the United States. The State Department document further goes on to state:
“The UN will seek and obtain the permanent presence of a standing UN military force”.
“An International Disarmament Organization (IDO) shall be established within the framework of the United Nations upon entry into force of the agreement. Its functions shall be expanded progressively as required for the effective verification of the disarmament program”.
Connecting the Dots
The revised 2010, now 2015, START treaty is designed to weaken both Russia and the U.S. Yet, there is one key missing element in this agreement, China. Why aren’t the Chinese involved in these nuclear disarmament agreements? Is this by design? Is this move by the UN and its lackey, the State Department designed to make China the most powerful nation in the world and will the emerging World Police Force actually be an emerging nuclear power, namely, China? Is this what the “Jade” in Jade Helm is all about?
It is clear from the State Department documents that the U.S. has laid the foundation for a World Police Force. Will it be the Chinese that heads up this force? Has the mantle of power been passed from the United States to China? Does this increase, or decrease, the likelihood that the U.S. and Russia will be encouraged to fight a war which will weaken both nations, while a healthy China waits for the winner in the wings?
Returning to Jade Helm, it is clear that not only is the U.S. being disarmed, but so will the people of the United States. Please refer to an email I received about 5 weeks ago.

I am working in conjunction with JH 15, but I decline to specify my role. In every conceivable scenario, we are rehearsing that every home that we are preparing to invade involves someone who is heavily armed. Certainly, not ever person of high-valued interest would be well-armed. This has led many of my colleagues to believe that Jade Helm is about arresting well-armed gun owners prior to occupying the immediate area of concern…. This is about gun confiscation…..
These are certainly game-changing revelations and there is a lot to consider. For example, is this new World Police Force going to be the enforcement mechanism of the TPP? Are strong nation states being purposely weakened so that corporations, under the TPP, can absorb and control nation states through this new World Police Force? Logic would lead us to answer these questions in the affirmative.
There are still many unconnected dots out there. However, there is one thing we can say for sure:
The wise American will become as independent from the existing local and federal authority as possible.
