BASTROP — The official slogan of Operation Jade Helm 15, “Master the Human Domain,” is just one of many oddities surrounding the eight-week Pentagon training that’s fomented anger and suspicion in Bastrop County and other rural parts of Texas.

In bile-green text, the phrase is placed beneath the operation’s logo of a double-edged sword, two crossed arrows and a translucent wooden clog — yes, a clog — all of which have become fodder for widespread, baseless conspiracy theories that the Army Special Operations Command is planning a martial law takeover of Texas come July.

Theories aside, the lingo points to an underlying objective of Jade Helm: The mastery of an emerging Special Forces doctrine called the “human domain,” a renewed push to study the “social and economic conditions” in conflict zones following lessons learned from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mizzy Zdroj, assistant chief of the Heart of the Pines Volunteer Fire Department, says Bastrop County residents are still recovering from the trauma of the devastating 2011 wildfire, and following a disappointing federal response have “learned not to trust people too much on the outside.”

But if one objective of Jade Helm is to better understand human behavior, Texas is providing a learning experience months ahead of schedule.

Responding to outrage from residents of Bastrop County, which military analysts and Pentagon officials insist is misguided, Gov. Greg Abbott last month ordered the Texas State Guard, a branch of the Texas National Guard, to monitor Jade Helm, a move those same analysts and officials also said was misguided.

The governor’s action elicited swift criticism from Todd Smith, a Republican lawyer and former state legislator, who accused the governor of “pandering to idiots” and legitimizing what some say are paranoid right-wing machinations. The governor defended his action last week, saying he wanted to ensure someone was gathering information for concerned Texans.

In lay terms, the military is teaching soldiers to apply the soft sciences of sociology and anthropology to understand distinct groups of people — their values, beliefs, behaviors — and thus prevent and win conflicts in hostile territories across the globe.

“You have to understand the human terrain — Who do I talk to? Where do I go?” said Paul Floyd, a senior military analyst for Stratfor, a global intelligence firm based in Austin. “You have to put yourself in their shoes as people and understand their motivations. Jade Helm is essentially practicing that.”

Floyd, a former Army Ranger who led a Special Operations squad on 35 missions in Afghanistan, said such training is crucial to better prepare troops for unconventional warfare, where it’s not always easy to tell civilians from soldiers, good guys from bad guys.

People listen at a public hearing about the Jade Helm 15 military training exercise at the Bastrop County Commissioners Court on April 27.

“It’s very important to understand how the politics of a place contribute,” he said. “There is a lesson to learn here, that sometimes communities can react in unexpected ways.”

That has proved especially true with Bastrop County, where residents’ fervent support of all things military has been placed at odds with a pervasive distrust of the Obama administration.

More than 1,200 service members from three military branches will participate in Jade Helm exercises in seven states, with 17 locations in Texas. But Bastrop became a focal point last month as several hundred residents leered at Lt. Col. Mark Lastoria, whose visit to a county government meeting was meant to quell fears and dispel rumors.

It was thought, Lastoria said, that Texas communities were a good place for such training because they’ve been historically supportive of U.S. military operations.

Instead, some locals who subscribe to theories of a federal takeover or an impending economic collapse accused Lastoria of lying or skirting questions. Others, the more subdued residents from the ashen hills outside the city of 7,000, left the meeting exasperated, no less skeptical than before.

“I would argue that the military was probably unaware, when it chose this site, of the trauma,” Floyd said, “And it goes back to not understanding the population. I think it was an unintended consequence.”

Lingering trauma

Before the 2011 Bastrop County Complex fire, towering lost pines blocked out the sunlight.

But now the sparsely populated Heart of the Pines neighborhood is a naked swath of charred stumps and half-built homes where the people are on edge and the wind still smells like campfire. More than once, the fire-orange glow of a sunset has sent mothers running to swoop up their children or to call 911.

Mizzy Zdroj, 47, cries as she explains: The collective trauma of those who survived the most destructive wildfire in Texas history is the missing context in the hysteria surrounding Jade Helm.

“Our lives were splayed open, just like the forest was,” says Zdroj, an assistant chief with the volunteer fire department.

Zdroj’s hands are hardened from the toil of cutting down and moving dead trees from her property. She lost her home in the fire, along with 68 animals, most of them rabbits which she and her family farmed. After the fire, a reality TV show gave her a large, new home behind the fire station, but she sold it because she and her husband couldn’t afford the taxes and upkeep with their combined $25,000 annual income.

She and her neighbors live here for a reason, to be left alone, and after a few disappointing dealings with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, “we’ve learned not to trust people too much on the outside.”

Add to the mix many Texans’ distrust of the Obama administration and the stock photos of soldiers and tanks accompanying much of the Jade Helm social media chatter.

“The way it’s been playing out is that this place has lost its rocks or something,” she says. “People aren’t crazy around here. People have just been through a lot.”

“You have to be careful when you take things to a place that’s had mass trauma,” Zdroj says. “You’re going to get a reaction.”

To be sure, she’s heard of backyard meetings where some are plotting their defense against whatever Jade Helm may bring. That’s a small and vocal minority, she says.

Among those with heightened concerns is Bob Wells, who brought a sign to last month’s Bastrop County Commissioner’s Court hearing that read, “No Gestapo in Bastropo.”

“They’re trying to make this look like it’s a normal thing,” he said in an interview. “That’s what’s bothersome to me.”

He says Jade Helm is reminiscent of the early days of Nazi Germany and wonders if the federal government plans to slowly inure civilians to the presence of troops as part of a slow establishment of a police state. He also wonders about the awkwardness of the Pentagon’s announcement of Jade Helm, with the release of a map that labeled Texas, perhaps aptly, as “hostile territory.”

“Is this part of the psychological operation — to fuel this sort of suspicion?” Wells said.

Zdroj and her neighbors refer to Lastoria only as “the man,” yet she says most believe his assurances that the 800 landowners of Heart of the Pines won’t be adversely affected by the exercises, which Lastoria said will take place only on private property and with the consent of landowners.

“Do I think it’s going to be a big deal? No,” she says. “Do I believe 100 percent of what the government tells me? No, of course not.”

Little trouble in Big Spring

In the West Texas city of Big Spring, 300 miles northwest of Austin, Mayor Larry McLellan can’t help but chuckle. He’s reading one of the eight emails in his inbox that bash him and the City Council for welcoming the Pentagon.

“This one didn’t say anything about being stupid yet,” McLellan says. “Oh, here’s one.”

He reads: “Obviously you aren’t competent as a mayor. When the hell is it ever OK to let the federal government into your town? This will be the end of you.”

His city of about 28,000 residents has been featured prominently in right-wing blogs, which gave the impression of widespread consternation there, but the bulk of the noise is coming from beyond Texas, McLellan said.

Big Spring’s association with Jade Helm was amplified following suggestions of a link between the military exercise and the unexpected closure of five Wal-Mart stores, including two in Texas and one in nearby Midland. Wal-Mart executives have said suspicions that the stores are either holding grounds for troops or an entry point for a series of secret underground tunnels are absurd.

Chad Williams, the police chief in Big Spring, is annoyed.

“I’m not dealing with anything,” he said. “I don’t give any credence to these conspiracy theorists. Not at all.”

“Whenever the media gives it credence and gives it legs, that’s what happens. I’m not interested in even talking about the subject. It’s going to make the problem worse for us.”

Old is new again

The civilian response to Jade Helm has been a baffling overreaction, says Steven Bucci, a 26-year U.S. Special Forces veteran who served as a deputy assistant secretary of defense under President George W. Bush.

“This kind of exercise happens all the time,” said Bucci, now an analyst for the conservative Heritage Foundation.

Bucci points to the Robin Sage exercise in North Carolina, where Special Forces troops have trained with the help of local government officials and civilians since 1974. Civilians participating in war games there do so knowingly and are contracted by the military, analysts say.

Offering an example of how an average person in a Jade Helm town could help, Bucci said a civilian might provide “a nondescript vehicle for clandestine transport or a house for a safe house. They could also be recruited to help the good guys make a communications drop. That sort of thing.”

The push to expand the Special Forces foray into the social sciences can be traced to a 2013 white paper dubbed “Strategic Landpower: Winning the Clash of Wills.” It was penned by Gen. Ray Odierno, head of Special Forces command; Gen. James Amos, a Marine Corps commandant; and Navy Adm. Bill McRaven, now chancellor of the University of Texas system.

Part military doctrine, part response to budget constraints in Washington, the white paper makes the case for investment in Special Forces human domain efforts because, while the blunt force of the U.S. military apparatus is unrivaled, it is often not enough to achieve strategic goals in conflict zones.

A review of dozens of military policy documents, scholarly articles and congressional transcripts show McRaven was the vanguard in the push for more human domain training. In March 2014 testimony before the U.S. House Committee on Armed Forces, McRaven said: “As we look at the human domain, it’s kind of the totality of the cultural, the ethnic, the social fabric that makes up the people that live in a particular area. You have to know that before you can make any decisions.”

McRaven did not respond to requests for comment, nor did Lastoria and three others involved in the planning and implementation of Jade Helm.

Failure to communicate

The uproar surrounding Jade Helm might have been tempered if the Pentagon had run a better public relations campaign, said retired Lt. Col. Dougald MacMillan, with the Army War College Fellowship at the University of Texas.

“The scope and the size of the exercise are what is unprecedented,” he said. “It calls for and it’s worthy of a more proactive public relations effort.”

On that front, residents say they’ve received mixed messages.

Lastoria, the public information officer, told Bastrop County residents last month that civilians would not be involved in the operation, that aside from two Humvees and one night-helicopter mission, the presence of soldiers would go mostly unnoticed.

But his description differs from a presentation that Thomas Mead, a contractor representing Special Forces, gave local government officials last year.

On a presentation slide titled “Why Texas,” Mead described the precepts of human domain: “Operating in and around communities where anything out the ordinary will be spotted and reported (Locals are the first to notice something out of place),” the presentation said. “The opportunity to work with civilians to gain their trust and an understanding of the issues.”

Gaining that trust may prove difficult here, said Jo Watts, who has lived for 15 years on a 23-acre ranch in the Heart of the Pines community, a lush tract that was barely spared from the fire four years ago, where Tom tends to the weeds and Jo operates a ceramics workshop with a kiln. “It’s almost like they’re trying to get people worked up.”

“There were a lot of inconsistencies,” said Tom Watts, 71, an Air Force veteran who says he spent decades as a computer engineer for NASA and the National Security Agency.

Jo Watts, 68, says she wants to be clear that she and her husband are ardent supporters of the military, even though they have deep distrust for the Obama administration. She’s worried about a long, slow incursion on civil liberties.

“It’s like the frog in the boiling water,” she said. “I don’t think it’s going to be a big deal, this Jade Helm thing, I really don’t. But is it a precursor to something more?”

Tom Watts says he doesn’t subscribe to conspiracy theories, but having worked for decades in the defense community, he has a thought about the logo with the sword, the arrows, the translucent clog and the ominous slogan. It’s nothing nefarious, he said.

“That doesn’t surprise me at all,” he says. “These people who are up there, cooking up this stuff — they’re idiots.”

Climate Change Psyop - New Study: Decreasing CO2 Emissions Will Save Thousands of Lives!

Climate Change Psyop - New Study: Decreasing CO2 Emissions Will "Save Thousands of Lives"!

By Bernie Suarez
Remember the early days of the global warming hoax? When Al Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change (IPCC) were all telling us the earth was going to fry within the next decade? The earth was getting warmer and it was all because of CO2. Since its early days of inception no movement has died and been debunked more than the global warming movement.
So often it has been debunked that it has had to undergo numerous facelifts, re-shaping of logic, arguments and agendas. The movement changed its name to "climate change" around the late '90s and has stuck to their argument since then: The earth is getting hotter AND cooler (climate change) because of global warming which is because of CO2. Their argument has not changed ... until now that is.
In a new bold move the movement is recently rolling out a new argument that they hope will be a game changer. Anyone awakened to the new world order plans of the globalists, and who is paying attention to this movement should not be surprised by anything they do this year (2015) which I've tagged: the year of the global warming-climate change hoax. The movement knows that the Obama administration is running out of time, so back in November of 2013 they passed an executive order to give Obama dictatorial control of all climate change legislation. This 2015 global warming-climate change hoax campaign has been in the works for some time now. We are now seeing the full manifestation of this planned move which is an important part of the U.N.'s Agenda 21 takeover and the implementation of a global carbon tax, both which are being presented as "solutions" to the "problem" of CO2 emissions.
Yes, the movement stands firm in the hands of several multi-million dollar philanthropic organizations which have been funding the movement for some time now. The multi-billion dollar movement thrives on massive donations from organizations like the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, The Grantham Foundation and organizations like the Mistra's Indigo Program. All three of these pro-global warming, pro-climate change foundations are behind the funding of the latest bizarre and controversial government "study." This time the movement is taking off the gloves and going for a new level of bogus claims, lies, and agenda-driven pseudo-science propaganda.

In the latest "study" funded by the above foundations, climate researchers are claiming that (Al Gore style) mandatory cutbacks on CO2 "pollutants" is now "projected" to "save thousands of lives" because of the related improvement it will have on medical conditions such as heart attacks and other cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, sudden death and other medical conditions.
That's right. The movement is now boldly stepping out beyond the climate argument which, like the global warming claims of the nineties, has failed to convince critical thinkers and free thinkers. To pad their movement with a new argument and a new angle this new study attempts to "project" and predict health issues as a result of CO2 emissions:

We used the PM2.5 and O3 from the CMAQ air quality simulations for the continental USA and compared them with the 2020 reference case to estimate and map the health co-benefits for each of the policy scenarios. These estimates do not include the direct health benefits resulting from mitigating climate change (for example, reduced heat-related illness). Concentration-response functions were derived for six health co-benefit outcomes, on the basis of extensive published literature on the health effects of air pollution. The six outcomes are: PM2.5 - related changes in premature deaths; myocardial infarctions (heart attacks); cardiovascular hospital admissions (excluding myocardial infarctions); respiratory hospital admissions; O3 - related changes in premature deaths; and hospital admissions associated with respiratory illness.
Take notice of the sketchy language employed throughout the entire argument. Air quality "simulations" are being compared to "reference cases" in order to come up with an "estimate" and map the health "CO-benefits" for each policy scenario. On top of that, notice that all of these agenda-driven "studies" are promoted by telling the reader WHERE the study is published as if the "where" in itself makes the study legitimate. This technique actually works. Many people will hear the words "This study is published in the New England Journal of Medicine" and subliminally most people will accept the study as legitimate just because it's published in the said journal. This is all part of many agenda-driven pseudo-science studies which are pushed as propaganda to the masses to be accepted as truth by default.
Furthermore, there is no medical language in this study. No mention of the human immune system and its role in human disease or for that matter the health of the individual, age, underlying disease etc. Instead the study only mentions "projections" of medical disease being assumed by the researchers without explaining the medical bases of the assumption.
This entire CO2 emission study amounts to a bunch of well-funded climate change hoaxers playing with numbers and hypothesizing about what theoretical health benefits might come from the climate change CO2 mandatory emission cuts that Obama will be rolling out this summer. This study is simply creating a pre-determined pre-justification argument for what the Obama administration wants to implement later this summer. This is a prime example of the climate change U.N. agenda in full swing.
If we do nothing else let us admire the template the climate change/global warming hoaxers are leaving us. They passed the Climate Change executive order in November of 2013, they planned out their strategy all of 2014 and now they are making their move here in 2015.
Let's all stand firm against this deceptive agenda. It's nothing more than a takeover of all human activity and it is intricately related to the U.N.'s Agenda 21.
Take notice that these studies, these "scientists" and the entire movement say nothing about the daily spraying of the atmosphere. They hypocritically ignore all the geoengineering of our planet going on right before our eyes. They ignore the 150+ geoengineering and weather modification patents and the accelerated spraying programs we've seen in just the last year with daily chembombs wiping out beautiful blue skies in California and around the country every day. They pretend like geoengineering is not happening. They ignore that the skies are being sprayed with dangerous nano-sized metal particles which is causing more human disease than any amount of CO2 emission could ever cause.
This study is deception from beginning to end. In fact it's a psyop on the American people and the world. They now want to blame CO2, a natural healthy gas necessary for the survival of the planet as the culprit of disease in humans as well as the planet. They continue to lie about the nature of CO2. They ignore that CO2 is a minuscule greenhouse gas in comparison to water vapor. They ignore the tiny role human-produced CO2 plays in the heating of the planet. They ignore the effect of the ACTUAL heat source, that being the sun itself, in heating the planet. The entire study is prefaced with a profound lie -
As an abundant greenhouse gas, CO2 is a major contributor to climate change.
And you cannot build a study based on lies. The entire climate change movement is now a logic disruptor and a mental static creator on humanity. This is a hiccup, a thorn that we must figure out how to deal with so that it doesn't come back to bite us in a way that will cost us all of our liberties and freedoms.
The victim followers
Let us all stay focused on exposing the primary goals of the movement and think of intelligent, creative ways to defuse it. Consider the victimized followers and realize that their loyalty to the movement is based on emotion, good intentions and blind faith. We all know the drill. They repeat the same old lies over and over as if repeating it makes it more true. They are immune and resistant to scientific logic and reason. They often reference another "scientist" as the endorser of their logic and they cite this as the "proof" that they are right.
The climate change psyop victims love their movement because it's based on the warm feeling of "caring" for the earth. They are also told that those who oppose the global warming-climate change movement are radical brainwashed right wing "deniers", "pro-corporation" Koch brothers defenders, and even zombies themselves. Sadly, the climate changers have become THE most brainwashed activist group on the planet today. The multi-billion dollar movement really has spent billions on TV shows, movies, documentaries, commercials, campaigns, books, websites, fundraisers, marches, magazines, songs, studies, political campaigns, signature campaigns and - coming this summer - even concerts, all to reinforce (like a religion) their beliefs.
From a psychological standpoint we should take note that funding really is directly related to the level of brainwashing. The climate change-global warming hoax agenda is full proof of this. Don't believe it? Try to convince anyone from that movement that they are being fooled.
Moving forward
As a humanity we must find a way to move forward above and beyond mocking and chastising those involved in the climate change-global warming movement. The first thing we should take note of is that many people in this movement really are well-intentioned people. For that reason we must find a way to at least make them reflect on their own freedom. Try to get these people to see the conspiratorial side of the argument. I have found they are usually not open to realizing the scientific reality of CO2 because they really do believe whatever their scientific masters (funded by pro-global warming philanthropists) tell them. Scientific logic and reason usually does not stand a chance when someone has already deferred their personal scientific logic and reason to another scientist. Therefore, it may be more rewarding to appeal to their love of freedom. Plant the seed, tell them about how the Club of Rome concocted the global warming movement. Show them the facts behind this history and give them something to think about.
Ultimately, as with any religion, you cannot break someone away from their chosen religion. It is something that must happen naturally. Until then, in order to move forward, those of us who understand the agenda in play right now must find ways to expose and resist this agenda as we have done with many other agendas in play. When enough people resist, more people come to the realization of what is happening. Already we know that many young Americans are not buying into the global warming lie. They are realizing that climate is supposed to change and they are beginning to understand that the real problem with today's climate change is the engineered change of the planet through chemtrails spraying.
Ultimately, the climate change agenda, I believe, is being used to deflect attention away from the global movement against geoengineering and chemtrails spraying. The movement is deliberately trying to change the conversation to one that blames the individual for the changes of the climate instead of the criminal geoengineering programs that are ongoing worldwide. The criminals behind the daily spraying of our skies are likely loving what the climate change hoaxers, and psyop victims are doing for their agenda. They are deflecting attention away, thus giving them more room and time to spray the skies every single day.
Unplugging from the matrix of lies
Are you still plugged into the matrix? Look up and see the skies and see what is being done to them before your eyes. Are you young? Turn off the global warming voices and instead ask someone older to let you see their photos from the decades of the past. Take a day and sit back and look at the pictures of the sky back in the 1990s, the '80s, '70s, '60s. Ask your grandmother to show you her old photos and enjoy browsing through these one day. As you look at one photo after another of blue skies and beautiful fluffy white clouds, compare that to today's feathery, weird, stratospheric, linear, tic-tac-toe skies. Then ask yourself: could these messy weird chemical looking skies be blocking the sunlight and causing climate change when done for over 10 years straight? Keep in mind that planes packed the skies in those days, too, burning fuel just like planes do today. Remember that in those days the skies were cold and humid too. Remember that in those days clouds were not pink. Sit back and see the pictures for yourself and ask yourself what has changed? Then, research the patents for geoengineering and research what whistleblowers have said. Research the topic with a clear and diligent mind and ask yourself what might over a decade of spraying tiny metal particles into the atmosphere do to the climate. Then when you are fully awake to what is happening try to contain yourself. Realize that knowledge is a two-edged sword. It can bring you down, and it can motivate you too; it all depends on how you handle it.
Solutions
Finally, let's realize that the climate change movement really is a central part of the globalist new world order plans and we can expect more deceptive studies like these to come out this year and years to come. Let's stand firm and do everything we can to expose their lies. The solutions will have to come at the smallest levels. Start with small groups of people looking to implement counter policies. Claim, reclaim and maintain your independence from the U.N. and all global government bodies. Realize that your senators are mostly all sold out to the billion dollar global warming agenda. Find out where your congressional representative stands and do what you can to vote them out. Let's also prepare for future counter strategies to the global enslavement policies they want to soon implement. No doubt they will rely on smart meters and other devices to try to monitor and measure your use of items. Let's stay ahead of the curve on the freedom and technological side of things and head off this movement as they move forward. At this point nothing should surprise us. Stay vigilant and keep your eyes wide open.

Will Central Banks Abolish Cash?

By Mark Nestmann
Cash has never been a popular asset with the totalitarian set. It’s difficult, if not impossible, to trace. Cash makes it possible to do business “off the books.”
For decades, with the US leading the effort, governments have engaged in a War on Cash. The original justification for this war was to fight racketeering. The War on Cash morphed into the War on Drugs, then the War on Money Laundering, and subsequently, the War on Terror.
But now, central banks and their lackey governments have a new rationale for the War on Cash: the very existence of cash makes it more difficult to enforce negative interest rates. That’s a big deal, because nearly $3 trillion worth of bonds with negative interest rates have already been issued. Incredible as it may seem, investors actually pay financially insolvent governments for the privilege of buying their bonds. Negative interest rates punish banks that fail to make loans but instead maintain reserves at a central bank. And of course, they punish savers seeking a positive return on their investment.
The European Central Bank has had negative interest rates in effect since June 2014. These rates apply to the “deposit facility rate,” which is the rate on “excess reserves” banks maintain at the ECB. Currently, that rate is -0.2%. If you’re a bank in the eurozone, your “reserves” gradually dwindle in value if you don’t lend them out. For instance, after one year at a -0.2% rate, €1 million of your reserves would only be worth €998,000.
The Danish and Swiss national banks have gone even further, with negative interest rates of -0.75%. After a year, 1 million Danish krone or Swiss francs would be worth only DKK/CHF992,500, respectively.

This policy isn’t reserved just for banks. I hold a position of Swiss francs at a domestic brokerage house. A few weeks ago, I was informed that money market holdings over CHF100,000 would now be subject to negative interest rates. I suspect this policy will gradually percolate into money market accounts for all currencies sporting negative interest rates.
Now, I can understand why central banks impose negative interest rates. They’re desperate to reinvigorate national economies that remain mired in recession years after the economic collapse of 2007–2009.
I also understand the reluctance of banks to lend. Debt levels in developed economies, especially Japan and the eurozone, are at all-time highs. Indeed, debt levels have grown by 40% since the last financial crisis. And cash-strapped borrowers are the last candidates to which banks want to extend credit.
The bottom line is that developed economies are so deeply in debt that they can no longer grow. The solution the central banks offer is more debt, but debt issued at negative interest rates.

While I get dizzy when I start thinking about the concept of paying someone for the privilege of holding my money, there’s an easy, albeit inconvenient, way to deal with the problem. And that’s to hold assets in cash. After all, 100 Swiss francs in a floor safe will still be worth CHF100 in 12 months, not CHF99.25.
Banks and governments don’t like that option one bit. Citigroup Chief Economist Willem Buiter made headlines a few weeks ago when he proposed abolishing cash to allow banks to impose negative interest rates. He suggests negative interest rates as low as -6.0% annually be imposed in financial crises, to force banks to lend and consumers to spend.
Currently, the US doesn’t have any restrictions on spending cash or even moving it across a national border, although there are strict reporting rules. If you deposit or withdraw more than $10,000 from a bank or other financial institution, the bank must file a “currency transaction report” with the US Treasury. In some areas subject to “geographic targeting orders,” the limits are reduced to $3,000 or even less.
Most Americans know nothing about these rules, which has led to countless numbers of innocent people having their savings confiscated and in some cases even being imprisoned. I most recently wrote about this racket in this essay.
Other countries, though, have been much more aggressive in the War on Cash:

  • Italy has literally banned all cash transactions over €999.99. To pay €1,000 or more, you must use a debit card, credit card, a “non-transferrable check,” or pay by bank transfer. Violations are punished by confiscation of 40% of the amount paid.
  • In France, cash transactions over €1,000 are now illegal. It’s also a crime to send any amount of cash by mail.
  • In Spain, the limit is a little higher: €2,500. And you “only” lose 25% of your cash if you violate the rules.
Similar restrictions are in place in Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Mexico, Russia, Uruguay, and a handful of other countries.
Naturally, these restrictions are justified by the need to fight “tax evasion” and “terrorism.” But I think the real reason is to force savers to help prop up the tottering banking system. And don’t forget that the global “bail-in” model applies to these deposits. If a bank goes bust, depositors must share in the losses, as I discussed in this essay.
In the meantime, numerous banks have restricted the ability of customers to withdraw cash. In Switzerland, the Swiss National Bank – the country’s central bank – prohibited a large hedge fund from withdrawing cash out of its bank account to avoid negative interest rates.
Could these restrictions be a bellwether for outright confiscation or prohibition of cash? I don’t see that as likely, because it would raise such a political outcry. What’s somewhat more likely would be a cash recall along the model first proposed by former US Treasury Secretary Donald Regan in 1989.
Regan recommended that all $50 and $100 bills be recalled and replaced with a new currency. The changeover would occur in a 10-day period, Regan proposed, and the old money would no longer be legal tender after that time. Regan also recommended that anyone turning in more than $1,000 in old bills be forced to prove that they had paid all taxes on the cash and that it had not been generated through illegal activity. Otherwise, the cash would be confiscated.
Negative interest rates and the escalating restrictions on cash transactions are just two more indications of the desperate situation the global financial system faces. And they call for urgent defensive measures, such as:
  • Drawing down bank reserves and hoarding cash. Document the withdrawals carefully so that you can prove the origin of the cash in the event of a Don Regan-style currency recall. In the US, hold only newly issued bills. More than 95% of circulating bills have drug residues on them, which under US law can be confiscated, as I discussed in this essay.
  • Converting a portion of assets now in banks or in cash to gold. Store the gold securely at home or in a non-bank depository. If you have more than $100,000 of gold, consider keeping a portion of it in a private vault outside the country you live in.
  • Keep the assets you maintain in banks in ultra-strong banks, to avoid the coming bail-ins.
  • Finally… there’s no question that technologies that will render obsolete central banks and indeed banks themselves are rapidly advancing. Bitcoin is a great example that’s worth looking into.
As I’ve said before, the global experiment in negative interest rates combined with escalating levels of debt will eventually end – badly. I don’t know when it will happen, but when it does, it won’t be the central bankers and politicians who designed these policies who get burned. It will be ordinary citizens like you and me.
Get your assets out of the “too big to fail” banks – now. It’s only a matter of time before the SHTF.

Activist Post: IRS Employees Got Raises After Cheating On Their Taxes

By John Vibes

It was reported this week that over 1,500 IRS employees were caught cheating on their taxes, and many of them even got promotions. Most of the employees who were caught in the recent investigation haven’t even been fired.

Russell George, Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, assured the public in a statement this week that there will be consequences for the employees were caught using their positions to avoid taxes.

“Given its critical role in federal tax administration, the IRS must ensure that its employees comply with the tax law in order to maintain the public’s confidence. Willful violation of the law by IRS employees should not be taken lightly,” George said.

In a statement, the IRS said that the employees will face strong discipline but will not be fired.“The IRS is committed to ensuring that employees meet their tax compliance responsibilities. Nonetheless, the IRS agrees that we can improve this process,” the statement read.

The report indicated that over a ten-year period there were 1,580 employees who were willfully not paying their taxes, and another 18,300 who weren’t paying by accident.

“It is crucial that IRS employees are held to the same standards as the hardworking taxpayers that pay their salaries. That means filing their taxes and paying the taxes they owe to the government,” Sen. Orrin Hatch, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee said in response to the recent findings.

Sen. Rand Paul: What You Discuss on Your Phone Is None of the Government’s Business

The sacrifice of our personal liberty for security is and will forever be a false choice

I’ve long said what you discuss on your phone is none of the government’s business, and the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit agrees.

Today, the federal court struck down the government’s sweeping, undefined, and illegal war on civil liberties, ruling that it is unlawful for the National Security Agency to collect the bulk phone records of American citizens.

The three judge panel slams the overreach of the NSA’s limitless metadata collection and privacy intrusion, writing in the opinion that the program was an “unprecedented contraction of the privacy expectations of all Americans.” The court judges the program’s premise as ineffectual, stating “the records demanded are all-encompassing; the government does not even suggest that all of the records sought, or even necessarily any of them, are relevant.”

This is an important victory for privacy, but the fight for liberty must continue in the Supreme Court and Congress until this grave miscarriage of justice is completely repealed.

The current ruling concludes that Section 215 of the Patriot Act does not authorize bulk collection of phone records. While this is great news, it also raises an important question. One of the reforms being offered in Congress is the USA Freedom Act, which bans bulk collection but replaces that collection with a new authorization for collection from phone companies.

Now that the appellate court has ruled that Section 215 doesn’t authorize bulk collection, would the USA Freedom Act actually be expanding the Patriot Act?

That would be a bitter irony if the attempt to end bulk collection actually gave new authority to the Patriot Act to collect records.

Senator Wyden and myself have a simpler approach to the problem. We simply ban the collection of phone records and do not replace it with an alternative collection system. We presume the replacement system would be constitutionally sound Fourth Amendment warrants.

The Supreme Court must strike down the government’s illegal spying program as a violation of our Fourth Amendment right to privacy. The Supreme Court will also determine if there is a First Amendment violation; the Second Circuit opinion asserts there is “a concrete, fairly traceable, and redressable injury” to the right of free association.

Congress must repeal the Patriot Act’s Section 215 provision that is used as the justification for the program’s legality. Without Congressional authorization for the program’s expiration at the end of the month, the government’s warrantless collection, as the court puts it, was never legal. “Congress cannot reasonably be said to have ratified a program of which many members of Congress — and all members of the public — were not aware,” reads the opinion.

Congress can also take other immediate action to prevent the Washington machine from collecting any American’s personal communications. I sponsored the Fourth Amendment Preservation and Protection Act to block federal, state, and local governments obtaining information on individuals or groups of individuals held by a third party in a system of records without a warrant. Congress should pass this bill immediately. I will also continue to fight for our civil liberties in the courtroom as part of a class action lawsuit filed on behalf of all Americans in protest of this unconstitutional program.

Opponents of civil liberties contend the NSA data collection has made our country more safe, but even the most vocal defenders of the program have failed to identify a single thwarted plot. If anything, the terror attack during the Boston marathon is a tragic reminder that casting too wide of a collection net for intelligence can be a distraction from the analysis necessary to stop plots — and, I’d argue, push us further from the fundamental reform necessary for our intelligence agencies to successfully counter terrorism.

The NSA should keep close watch on suspected terrorists to keep our country safe — through programs permitting due process, the naming of a suspect, and oversight by an accountable court. The sacrifice of our personal liberty for security is and will forever be a false choice, and I refuse to relinquish our Constitutional rights to opportunistic and overreaching politicians.

Proof: Pentagon Mapping US For Insurgents

by INFOWARS.COM | MAY 8, 2015

What does “Master the Human Domain” on the Jade Helm 15 logo mean?

“Human Domain,” like “unconventional warfare” are terms of art for military and law enforcement. Painting Texas & Utah red and labeling them “hostile” is just the tip of the intel iceberg that seeks to overlay a human geological map onto a physical geological map to track individuals.

Rob Dew and David Knight take a look at this obscure part of the military/police industrial complex and how it relates to Jade Helm.
