A vast network of Roman Catholic and Protestant church organizations devoted to the spread of Marxism-Leninism under the guise of LiberationTheology has been developed in the past 25 years.

At the highest level of Catholic Church organization are Marxist sympathizers Bryan Heir and Thomas Quigley. Father Heir was given the Letelier Award by the radical leftist Institute for Policy Studies. (Orlando Letelier was a known Chilean communist, openly admired by Heir.) Quigley is active in a number of pro-communist organizations, including the Council for Hemispheric Affairs, the Washington Office for Latin America, and the Religious Task Force on Central America.
The main instrument for the communist use of the Church is the network of Justice and Peace Commissions. These organizations exist at all levels of the Catholic Church. Local commissions are formed by individual parishioners, whose activities typically include letter writing in support of leftist causes and support for boycotts.
This official set of church organizations is supplemented by many other groups, including the Maryknoll and Jesuit orders and Pax Christi.
Pax Christi is a frankly political group that involves bishops, priests, and lay people. Bishop Thomas Gumbleton, head of the U.S. chapter of Pax Christi, for example, was known to be a Sandinista sympathizer and a personal supporter of Maryknoll priest Miguel D’Escoto, an avowed communist.
At the local level, the organizations are too many to list. Worthy of special note, however, is the Mexican American Cultural Center (MACC) in the diocese of San Antonio, Texas, which maintains an active liberationist program.
Active throughout the hemisphere, but especially in Texas, the MACC has its fingers in a number of progressive pies. They advocate opening U.S. borders to uncontrolled immigration, harbor illegal aliens, organize farm labor strikes, and establish Basic Christian Communities to promote Liberation Theology among Hispanics.
In the Washington, DC area, many groups are active in promoting Liberation Theology, including: The Center of Concern, a Jesuit front; The Quixote Center; Network, the official lobbying group of leftist nuns; The Christic Institute; and The Jesuit Mission Center.
The National Council of Churches (NCC) and a number of its member organizations also promote Liberation Theology. Consider these:

• Church World Service actively contributes funds to leftist governments with which the NCC sympathizes.
• Domestic Hunger Network spends more money supporting leftwing political activism than feeding the needy.
• Agricultural Missions Program supports local indigenous movements that tend toward total liberation of rural people - spiritual, economic, and political.
• Cluster on Unity and Relationships fosters ecumenical merging of church groups with differing doctrines, all in the context of Liberation Theology.
• Cluster on Church Life and Witness (Divison on Church and Society) is an outreach to increase the acceptance of Liberation Theology propaganda in public discussion, media communications, and educational curriculum.
• Cluster on Church and Society promotes a broad, leftist agenda on issues including poverty, racism, sexism, civil liberties, ecology, and welfare.
• Cluster on International Ministries works with overseas religious groups to promote socialist policies there and undermine anti-communist governments combatting terrorism.
• The Clergy and Laity Concerned, formed by the NCC in 1965, is closely allied to the communist World Peace Council and was active in the assault on South Africa.
• Another group, the American Friends Service Committee, formed by 14 socialist Quakers in 1917, has been infiltrated and used by communists to promote their domestic and foreign policy objectives - including the promotion of liberationist activities worldwide.
• The Riverside Church Disarmament Program (RCDP), run by activists in the leadership of the Marxist Institute for Policy Studies, is a propaganda organization active in the spread of liberationism. RCDP also is closely allied to the communist World Peace Council.

Additional promotion of Liberation Theology is conducted by major Protestant denominations, most notably Methodist, Episcopal, and Presbyterian, as well as by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Another Banker Found Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide

A JPMorgan Chase & Co. employee and his wife were discovered dead in their home on Friday in an apparent murder-suicide.
Iran Pars Tabacchi, who went by Denise, was found dead on February 6th from strangulation and a single stab wound to the chest. Iran’s husband, 27-year-old Michael Tabacchi died of a self-inflicted stab wound to the chest, according to authorities.
New Jersey officials believe that Michael murdered his wife around 11pm Friday night before killing himself. No motive has been determined at this time.
Officials are not aware of the couple having any financial or marital issues.
An undisclosed text message was sent to Michael’s father from the banker’s cell phone that evening. The text prompted him to drive to his son’s quaint suburban home where he discovered the slain bodies along with a kitchen knife in the floor. There was no note left behind.

Michael worked for J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in Manhattan since 2009. He served as a Global Custody Product Manager since October 2013. Prior to this position, he was employed as an Operations Analyst by the banking giant.
The couple, who were married in 2013, had a 15-month-old son together. The child was found in the home unharmed.
Another New Jersey resident, Julian Knott, who was the executive director of JPMorgan’s Global Network Operations Center was found dead in an apparent murder-suicide last July.
This is at least the 40th banker who has died under unusual circumstances over the past 13 months.

As it turns out, 9 out of 10 Big Pharma companies actually spent more on their sales and marketing than their research and development.

When we put this spending into perspective, it’s much easier to see how Big Pharma pushes drugs on the public that are absolutely riddled with side effects and still somehow manages to make a massive profit. Even standard pharmaceuticals come with a long list of over 70 side effects, with some clocking in at side effect counts that reach beyond 500.

So how do they do it? Quite simply, they spend billions marketing their pharmaceuticals with smiling models and nature-filled backdrops.

John Oliver is simply brilliant. Not only does he have an uncanny ability to mix humor with serious social issues, but his videos can be so powerful they impact public policy at the national level.

Although the reforms to civil asset forfeiture announced by Eric Holder are entirely inadequate, it seems clear that his incredible video on the issue (highlighted in the post: “Common People Do Not Carry This Much U.S. Currency…” – This is How Police Justify Stealing American Citizens’ Money) played a role in influencing the national debate.

His latest video might be his best one yet. I haven’t watched anything this good in a while.

We learn many key statistics. From the disturbing fact that 70% of Americans take at least one prescription medication, to a marketing speech for Advair in which the speaker looks and sounds like a televangelist, to revelations that the Department of Justice filed a civil fraud lawsuit against Novartis for taking out doctors to Hooters in exchange for prescribing its drugs.

Investor Steve Ricchiuto stunned CNBC hosts when he launched into a breathless rant about how there is no real economic recovery and that the Federal Reserve’s forecasts are pie in the sky.

Ricchiuto, Managing Director of Mizuho Securities USA, left anchors Simon Hobbs and Sara Eisen scrambling for words as he reeled off a barrage of factors as to why there is no acceleration in economic activity.

The highlights;

“There is no acceleration in underlying economic activity.”

“There’s this wrong concept that I keep on hearing about in the financial press about the acceleration in economic growth… It isn’t happening!”

“We had a horrible retail sales number, we had a horrible durable goods number, we’re likely to have a very disappointing retail sales number coming forward, this month we have a strong payroll number we say everything’s great – it’s not great….it’s been the same thing for the last five years,there’s no improvement in the economy!”

“After a string of dismal data on durable goods, retail spending, and inventories, we get a good jobs number and everyone saying the economy’s good – it’s not good!”

“And we can keep on going,” Ricchiuto responded when Hobbs interrupted him.

According to Zero Hedge, the clip was also edited to remove host Eisen’s glib response to Ricchiuto’s sobering reality check on the real economic figures.

“But the key is that’s not what The Fed is telling us,” she stated.

So according to the financial “experts” at CNBC, actual economic numbers are less important than placing blind faith what the Federal Reserve claims is happening in its press releases.

Is it really any surprise that CNBC is hemorrhaging viewers because of a lack of transparency and a complete failure to question the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy?

DoD CLOUD COMPUTING SECURITY REQUIREMENTS GUIDE (SRG)

Cloud computing technology and services provide the Department of Defense (DoD) with the opportunity to deploy an Enterprise Cloud Environment aligned with Federal Department-wide Information Technology (IT) strategies and efficiency initiatives, including federal data center consolidation. Cloud computing enables the Department to consolidate infrastructure, leverage commodity IT functions, and eliminate functional redundancies while improving continuity of operations. The overall success of these initiatives depends upon well executed security requirements, defined and understood by both DoD Components and industry. Consistent implementation and operation of these requirements assures mission execution, provides sensitive data protection, increases mission effectiveness, and ultimately results in the outcomes and operational efficiencies the DoD seeks.

The 15 December 2014 DoD CIO memo regarding Updated Guidance on the Acquisition and Use of Commercial Cloud Computing Services defines DoD Component responsibilities when acquiring commercial cloud services. The memo allows components to responsibly acquire cloud services minimally in accordance with the security requirements outlined in Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) FedRAMP and this Security Requirement Guide (SRG). DISA previously published the concepts for operating in the commercial cloud under the Cloud Security Model. Version 1 defined the overall framework and provided initial guidance for public data. Version 2.1 added information for Controlled Unclassified Information. This document, the Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG), documents cloud security requirements in a construct similar to other SRGs published by DISA for the DoD. This SRG incorporates, supersedes, and rescinds the previously published Cloud Security Model.

The following terms will be used throughout this document:

• CSP by itself refers to any or all Cloud Service Providers, DoD or non-DoD.
• Non-DoD CSP will refer to a commercial or Federal Government owned and operated CSP.
• Commercial CSP will refer to a Non-DoD Non-Federal Government organization offering cloud services to the public and/or government customers as a business, typically for a fee with the intent to make a profit.
• DoD CSP will refer to a DoD owned and operated CSP.
• CSO refers to a CSP’s Cloud Service Offering (recognizing that a CSP may have multiple offerings).
• Commercial Cloud Service is a CSO offered by a Commercial CSP.
• Mission Owners are entities such as program managers within the DoD Components responsible for instantiating information systems and applications leveraging a CSP’s Cloud Service Offering.

3.2 Information Impact Levels

The previously published Cloud Security Model defined 6 information Impact Levels. In order to simplify the selection process, the number of levels was reduced from 6 to 4. This was accomplished by integrating levels 1 (public information) and 3 (low impact Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)) into levels 2 and 4, respectively. The numeric designators for the Impact Levels have not changed to remain consistent with previous versions of the Cloud Security Model, leaving Impact Levels 2, 4, 5, and 6. Note that a higher level can process data from a lower level.

Additionally, the security control baseline for all levels has been changed to moderate confidentiality and moderate integrity as defined by CNSSI 1253 and the FedRAMP Moderate Baseline. This modification from high confidentiality and high integrity is intended to better align with the categorization of most DoD customer systems that will be deployed to commercial CSP facilities. Mission owners with systems categorized at high confidentiality or integrity impact levels must deploy to DoD facilities assessed using CNSSI 1253 high baselines through the DoD RMF or contract for the added security. DISA will consider incorporating a FedRAMP High Baseline into this SRG after one becomes available.

The following subsections describe the impact levels, to include those used previously, and the type of information to be stored or hosted in CSOs.

3.2.1 Level 1: Unclassified Information approved for Public release

Level 1 is no longer used and has been merged with Level 2.

3.2.2 Level 2: Non-Controlled Unclassified Information

Level 2 includes all data cleared for public release, as well as some DoD private unclassified information not designated as CUI or critical mission data, but the information requires some minimal level of access control.

3.2.3 Level 3: Controlled Unclassified Information

Level 3 is no longer used and has been merged with Level 4.

3.2.4 Level 4: Controlled Unclassified Information

Level 4 accommodates CUI which is the categorical designation that refers to unclassified information that under law or policy requires protection from unauthorized disclosure as established by Executive Order 13556 (November 2010) or other mission critical data. Designating information as CUI or critical mission data to be protected at Level 4 is the responsibility of the owning organization. Determination of the appropriate impact level for a specific mission with CUI and mission data will be the responsibility of the mission AO.

CUI contains a number of categories3, including, but not limited to the following:

• Export Control–Unclassified information concerning certain items, commodities, technology, software, or other information whose export could reasonably be expected to adversely affect the United States national security and nonproliferation objectives. This includes dual use items; items identified in export administration regulations, international traffic in arms regulations and the munitions list; license applications; and sensitive nuclear technology information.
• Privacy Information–Refers to personal information or, in some cases, personally identifiable information (PII)4 as defined in Office of Management and Budget (OMB) M-07-165 or means of identification as defined in 18 USC 1028(d)(7).
• Protected Health Information (PHI)6 as defined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (Public Law 104-191).
• Other information requiring explicit CUI designation (i.e., For Official Use Only, Official Use Only, Law Enforcement Sensitive, Critical Infrastructure Information, and Sensitive Security Information).

3.2.5 Level 5: Controlled Unclassified Information

Level 5 accommodates CUI that requires a higher level of protection as deemed necessary by the information owner, public law, or other government regulations. Level 5 also supports unclassified National Security Systems (NSSs) due to the inclusion of NSS specific requirements in the FedRAMP+ controls/control enhancements (C/CEs). As such, NSS must be implemented at Level 5.

3.2.6 Level 6: Classified Information up to SECRET

Level 6 accommodates information that has been determined: (i) pursuant to Executive Order 12958 as amended by Executive Order 13292, or any predecessor Order, to be classified national security information; or (ii) pursuant to the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, to be Restricted Data (RD). At this time, only information classified as SECRET, in accordance with the applicable executive orders, is applicable to this level. Services running at higher classification levels, to include compartmented information, are governed by other policies and are beyond the scope of this document. Impact Level 6 requires a similar set of tailored controls as Level 5 and includes the CNSSI 1253 Appendix F, Attachment 5 Classified Information Overlay C/CEs.

On Wednesday, February 4, 2015, Tennessee Campaign for Liberty helped to win a big fight in Nashville to stop Obamacare Expansion (Insure Tennessee).

Less than a month ago, political pundits were predicting Insure Tennessee would pass both the house and the senate.

Thanks to grassroots activists around the state, it never made it out of the first committee vote. The bill was killed in the Health and Welfare Committee by a vote of 4 - 7.

Members of the General Assembly were under a lot of pressure from the governor, the health care industry, and their lobbyists.

Because of people like you, we were able to push those representatives to do the right thing.

Thank you for taking the time to make phone calls to your representatives and signing our online petition. We were able to give Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey`s office 1,150 signed petitions, and I personally delivered to Speaker of the House Beth Harwell copies of 1,150 signed petitions.

Those signed petitions weighted heavy in the fight. Other members of the legislature asked for copies of the petitions as well. They needed those copies to show those representing the health care industry that there were a lot of people across the state against ObamaCare Medicaid Expansion.

Hundreds of grassroots activists filled the hallways of Legislative Plaza and the committee rooms.

In the end, because of the grassroots movement in Tennessee, ObamaCare Expansion is dead for the rest of 2015.

Feminist says she didn't want to bring "another monster into the world"

A feminist admitted she aborted her baby because he was a boy, stating she “couldn’t bring another monster into the world” and that her decision “made a difference.”

The feminist, Lana, said after discovering her unborn baby was male, she began “weeping at the thought” of what she was “about to curse the world with” and decided an abortion would make things right.

“I went in for the procedure, as it was fairly later in my pregnancy, I was aware there were certain risks, but it went off without a hitch,” she wrote. “My body’s betrayal was no more, I was free… I felt strong.”

“I had done something positive, something that would actually make a difference, something good, even though as I would find out, many others wouldn’t see it that way.”

She said the intense backlash she received encouraged her to “help shape the thoughts of young women today.”

“As a modern feminist, you will need to be able to take this abuse in stride, remembering that it isn’t always the person who is saying those hateful things, but it is their mal-adjusted, socially-unaware upbringing speaking through their mouths or keyboards,” she claimed. “There are people out there who actually do want to see the demise of modern feminism, they will go out of their way to make anti-feminist comments and some may even take action.”

“These people are the absolute scum of the Earth.”

Yet to her, it’s okay to abort a baby because he’s male.

This diabolical “us vs. them” mentality pushed by today’s so-called feminists highlights how feminism has transformed from a genuine women’s rights movement in the late 19th century into a top-down tool of social control steered by the CIA and other powerful interests to make women more dependent on the government while breaking up the traditional family model.

Simply put, people generally hold more allegiance to their own families than they do the state, so what better way to destroy families than to corrupt feminism into an “us vs. them” movement pitting women against men?

A leading icon of the feminist movement, Gloria Steinem, even admitted she received funding from the CIA and the Rockefeller foundation to influence the counter-culture movement in the 1960s.

Ironically enough, this strategy was laid out in Brave New World, a 1932 novel written by establishment insider Aldous Huxley which anticipates a future society that is centrally controlled by a powerful government through the use of various techniques such as the destruction of the family.

In the book, the central planners use social engineering to eradicate romantic relationships to ensure the citizens have complete allegiance to the state and not with each other through personal connections such as families.

“All their ties with the past — friends, family, traditional decencies and pieties — have been severed,” Huxley wrote in his later essay Brave New World Revisited. “They are new men [and women], re-created in the im­age of their new god and totally dedicated to his service.”

Modern day feminism has also supercharged this strange idea that abortions serve as an “acceptable” way to shirk responsibility from raising a child, and some elements of the pro-choice movement have gotten so radical, they are now pushing for the “abortions” (i.e. murder) of children AFTER birth.

Infowars reporter Joe Biggs was even able to get college students to sign a petition to legalize the killing of newborns up to age five.

The Global Warming establishment is NOT a business. All the tentacles that suck up public money to finance crony collectivism are based upon government subsidies and artificially higher consumer prices. The absurd lunacy that economic growth and productive jobs can be created with the underlying premise of the “so called” industrial model is based upon lies, deceit and cooked data; clearly demonstrates the disingenuous nature of the zealots that benefit from the fraud. 

Dishonest scientists living off government grants, career bureaucrats counting the days till retirement, greedy politicians begging for campaign donations and pathetic media lap dogs eager to continue the lies, all are responsible for the prevarication campaign behind the religion of the global warming cult.

As for the business con artists who bilk their deceived investors with pie in the sky business plans, as they fabricate their financial statement to raise money for schemes that can never be profitable - they all belong in jail.

Finally the Banksters, financial firms, hedge funds and now the yieldcos that push this idiocy, the wrath of all humanity will be your reward. Cap and trade is no formula for prosperity.

Now the stakes have changed and the debate shifts as righteous outrage is about to erupt. Christopher Booker cites numerous instances to back up his assertion in the essay, The fiddling with temperature data is the biggest science scandal ever.

“When future generations look back on the global-warming scare of the past 30 years, nothing will shock them more than the extent to which the official temperature records – on which the entire panic ultimately rested – were systematically “adjusted” to show the Earth as having warmed much more than the actual data justified.

Of much more serious significance, however, is the way this wholesale manipulation of the official temperature record – for reasons GHCN and Giss have never plausibly explained – has become the real elephant in the room of the greatest and most costly scare the world has known. This really does begin to look like one of the greatest scientific scandals of all time.”

Further stats challenge the deceitful doctrine that drives the Global Warming money making machine. However, the “True Believers” will never accept any data that conflicts with their beliefs. “The global warming establishment consists of politicians, environmental organizations, scientists and scientific societies, as well as the manufacturers of such things as corn ethanol, wind turbines, and solar power stations. The global warming establishment is showered with money in the form of government subsidies and government regulations that force consumers to subsidize the establishment. Calculating the total amount of money flowing to the global warming establishment is a difficult accounting challenge. A report by the Congressional Budget Office places the cost of renewable energy subsidies at about $20 billion per year. This is by no means the total subsidy since many states have their own mandates and subsidies. For example, many consumers in California are being charged 40 cents (at tier 5) per kilowatt hour for electricity that could be provided for 10 cents. By making electricity exorbitantly expensive, roof top solar panels become economical, thereby subsidizing the solar power industry at the expense of electricity consumers.
