David Brat’s Success Due to 19,000 new primary voters

David Brat’s Success Due to 19,000 new primary voters

By: Joshua Cook Jun 15, 2014

According to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s pollster, Cantor’s defeat was due to thousands of Democrats in Virginia who voted in Tuesday’s primary.

But according to David Brat’s campaign that wasn’t the case.

“We were polling a universe of people who voted in one of the last three Republican primaries and said that they were likely to vote in this Republican primary,” said John McLaughlin, a New York-based pollster quoted in Campaigns & Elections magazine.

Winner David Brat’s campaign didn’t spend any time targeting Democrats.

Steve Adler, founder of Voter Activation Network (VAN) and  rVotes  said Brat’s campaign used rVotes to expand its universe beyond the traditional Virginia GOP primary voters being targeted by Cantor’s campaign. Adler also said several Tea Party campaigns had donated their data to Brat to allow him to expand his targeting universe.

“Now, suddenly he had access to hundreds if not thousands of different codes,” said Adler. “Funky stuff like anything from ‘voter owns only American cars’ to ‘known patriot group member’ to ‘voter flies a flag’ or ‘voter has an NRA sticker on their car.’ They were aggressively using the system to microtarget.”

Brat paid only $1,500, or 1 percent of his campaign budget, to use rVotes, the targeting software. Cantor, on the other hand, spent more than $5 million on TV ads, consultants, lawyers and fundraising.

McLaughlin pointed out that turn out two years ago was 46,000. Tuesday’s turnout was more than 65,000. “Untold story is who were the 19,000 new primary voters? They were probably not Republicans,” said McLaughlin.

A story in the Washington Post cited that high voter turnout was another thing that did not work in Cantor’s favor.

Brat’s successful strategy is definitely a model for Tea Party and Libertarian activists to use going forward.

Sri Lanka shaken by religious violence

Sri Lanka shaken by religious violence

Police use tear gas and enforce curfew in two coastal towns to end fighting between Muslims and Buddhists.

Last updated: 16 Jun 2014 00:26

Sri Lankan police have fired tear gas and enforced a curfew in two coastal towns popular with tourists in an attempt to end clashes between Muslims and Buddhists that threatens to spark wider religious violence.

The police said on Sunday they were widening a curfew in Alutgama, to the neighbouring town Beruwala, a predominantly Muslim area, after violence threatened to take hold in the region.

According to the AFP news agency, the two groups attacked each other with stones in fighting over the weekend - the latest in a series of religious clashes to hit the island nation.

A police spokesman said trouble began when a group led by Buddhist monks tried to march in an area with a sizeable population of Muslims, who are a minority in the mainly Buddhist country.

"The curfew was declared to bring the situation under control," he said. "The curfew was extended to a neighbouring area to prevent an escalation of clashes."

"Several Muslim-owned shops have been burned and homes attacked," a resident in Beruwala told AFP.

"Some Buddhists are deliberately targeting Muslims. But unfortunately police have not been able to protect the minorities," Hilmy Ahmed, spokesperson of Muslim Council of Sri Lanka, told Al Jazeera.

"A petty feud between two individuals has been allowed to take a religious tone. The extremist Buddhists led by Bodu Bala Sena attacked Muslims and are still in the area despite curfew."

There were no reports of arrests but dozens of people were said to have been injured.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who is in Bolivia attending the G77 summit, has called for restrain with the promise that the government will not allow anyone "to take the law into their own hands".

"An investigation will be held for law to take its course of action to bring to book those responsible for incidents in Aluthgama," he said via his twitter account.

Chain of violence

The latest unrest came weeks after Muslim legislators asked Rajapaksa to protect their minority community from "Buddhist extremist elements" blamed for a recent spate of hate attacks.

Sri Lankan Buddhists promise to carry out the law

Muslims make up about 10 percent of Sri Lanka's 20-million population.

Nationalist Buddhist groups, including the Bodu Bala Sena, accuse religious minorities of having undue political and economic influence on the island.

Videos posted on YouTube have shown mobs led by Buddhist monks throwing stones and smashing a Christian church in southern Sri Lanka in January, and attacking mosques while police looked on.

Senior Buddhist monks have also been caught on video threatening violence against their moderate colleagues who advocate tolerance.

Rajapaksa, who is a Buddhist, warned monks in January last year not to incite religious violence.

VICTORY: South Carolina Passes Legislation to Teach Constitution in School

VICTORY: South Carolina Passes Legislation to Teach Constitution in School

southcarolina
South Carolina is a solidly red state, with a significant conservative population, evidenced by some of their politicians like Representative Trey Gowdy, Senator Tim Scott, and Governor Nikki Haley.
The state has nullified Obamacare and repealedCommon Core. They are working towards nullifying federal gun control laws, and Governor Haley wants legislation permitting “Constitutional carry“, or the right to carry a gun openly or concealed without need of a license.
They have even sought to ban the use of drones in the skies over their state.

Now the state legislature has engaged in a fight against liberals at two publicly-funded universities that were requiring students to read homosexual-themed books.  After cuttingtheir budgets, funding was restored on condition that the schools teach the Constitution and other documents from the founding of our country, according to Fox News.
State House lawmakers previously had cut funds from two public universities in retaliation for required-reading material containing homosexual themes. A revised budget passed by both the House and the Senate earlier this month, though, restored the money — but dictated that exact amount be spent “forinstruction in the provisions and principles of the United States Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Federalist Papers, including the study of and devotion to American institutions and ideals.”
The bill restored at least $52,000 for the College of Charleston, and at least $17,000 for USC-Upstate, which were the original amounts cut back in March. The legislation also says that any school that conducts a mandatory readingprogram must provide an alternative in case the chosen book conflicts with any students’ moral or religious beliefs.
Governor Haley reluctantly went along with the Constitutional requirement, expressingreservations about the government interjecting itself in the school’s curriculum.
“I don’t believe legislators should micromanage our boards,” she said, according to The Associated Press. “They elect board members, so if they want to beat up on them, go for it… but to go in there and micromanage books being read, I think that’s out of our purview.”
Liberal groups aren’t satisfied with the compromise though.
The National Coalition Against Censorship, ACLU of South Carolina and other groups said in a statement earlier this week that the new bill is a “symbolic penalty” that is just as troubling as the House’s original proposal.
“It represents unwarranted political interference with academic freedom and undermines the integrity of the higher education system in South Carolina,” the groups said.
The situation came about after the two schools required students to read books with overt homosexual themes, which angered some students and parents that objected to the content of the books.
Republican state Rep. Garry Smith, who introduced the cuts in the House, told FoxNews.com in March he received complaints from constituents who have children at both schools. He said when they or their students objected to the books’ content, they were told they could not read an alternative book.
“I appreciate the issue of freedom and academic freedom and very much support that, but in this case it was very irresponsibly exercised,” he said.
Democratic Rep. James Smith introduced amendments to reverse the cuts in the House, but both failed. Smith told FoxNews.com on Tuesday that he still considers the amended budget a victory for academic freedom.
“It took a lot more effort than it should have, but we feel vindicated,” he said.
“The reality is some of my colleagues need a lesson on the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights,” he said.

This is something of a tricky situation.  While we support academic freedom and the free exchange of ideas, and eschew government control over a school’s curriculum, there is something to be said for publicly-funded schools maintaining a balance in their curriculum that meets and addresses the needs of all the constituents that fund them.
If a school is going to accept and rely on taxpayer money to operate, then taxpayers should have some say in what gets taught at the school.  This legislation provides something of a balance, allowing schools to teach controversial material if they choose, provided they also teach about the Constitution and the founding of the nation.

Ron Paul: The State Is Not God

RON PAUL: THE STATE IS NOT GOD
Ron Paul on collectivism's collapse, Common Core and more

Ron Paul: The State Is Not God

by KIT DANIELS | INFOWARS.COM | JUNE 15, 2014

In this exclusive interview with Infowars, former congressman and presidential candidate Dr. Ron Paul breaks down how politicians use public education, particularly with Common Core, to create a dumbed down population unaware of their rights and how parents can counter it with a homeschooling curriculum based on the ideas of liberty.

The Common Core State Standards Initiative is a set of grade school academic standards that the Obama administration has successfully coerced over 40 states to adopt, resulting in a massive federal takeover of public education at the state and local levels.

“…Common Core is an example of how the federal government wants to take over, totally and completely, the educational system,” Dr. Paul said. “They’ve been doing this for a long time, I mean for more than 50 years they’ve encroached upon control of local schools with the federal government getting involved back even in the 50s with the Department of Education – HEW [Department of Health, Education, and Welfare] – being established.”

“Common Core is really the last straw and people are very upset about it because they [federal officials] want to set the standards for the curricula for every single school, which means control over the individual education of all the children.”

It has already reduced the quality of education at public schools significantly.

Back in April, Ohio kindergarteners were asked to solve a math problem that did not allow them to provide the right answer.

“Count and tell how many pieces of fruit. Write the number,” the assignment’s directions stated, but the math problem only included 19 countable apples despite the fact that it was entitled “Count and Write 20.”

And last year, a Common Core curriculum coordinator told parents that kids could give the completely wrong answer to math problems and still be counted correct if they explained their answer.

“Even if they said, ’3 x 4 was 11,’ if they were able to explain their reasoning and explain how they came up with their answer really in, umm, words and oral explanation, and they showed it in the picture but they just got the final number wrong, we’re really more focused on the how,” the coordinator said.

But what’s really concerning is how the Obama administration – or any sequential administration for that matter – can use Common Core to erode people’s knowledge of their birth rights and indoctrinate them into supporting unrestrained government.

One high school “history” textbook did just that in its section on the Bill of Rights, which stated that Americans only have the right to keep and bear arms in a state militia.

The government grows at the expense of liberty, and if school children are indoctrinated at a young age to disregard many of their birth rights, they will not resist when the state takes them away.

“[Common Core] is just trying to make people obedient to the state,” Dr. Paul added.

Fortunately, there are homeschooling alternatives to public education that are now on the rise.

Kenya hotels set ablaze as gunmen attack town

Alleged al-Shabab fighters open fire on residents and set buildings on fire in Lamu county, authorities say.

Last updated: 15 Jun 2014 22:54

Kenya has seen a rise in violence blamed on al-Shabab fighters [File:Reuters]

Unidentified gunmen have attacked a coastal town in Kenya's Lamu county and set fire to at least three hotels and a petrol station, authorities have said.

Police said the assailants also attacked a police station on Sunday after they arrived at Mpeketoni on mainland Lamu in a van.

"Attackers hijacked a van from Witu town which they used for the attacks. They raided Mpeketoni police station first and opened fire," Hamaton Mwaliko, Mpeketoni area administration police chief, told the Reuters news agency.

"Some hotels in the town are on fire. We don't know how many casualties are there for now. We understand the attackers have already fled but our officers are pursuing them."

Kenya's National Disaster Operation Centre said on Twitter that the attack has been linked to the Somalia-based group al-Shabab, which has been blamed for previous violence in Kenya.

The country's Interior Ministry had earlier reported that the attackers had arrived in two public minibuses and started shooting at residents.

Deadly attacks

Kenya sent troops into Somalia in late 2011, after al-Shabab fighters carried out a series of raids on Kenyan soil.

Al-Shabab, which has fought a seven-year campaign to impose its interpretation of Islamic law inside Somalia, has said it wants to take revenge for Kenya's deployment of troops in the Horn of Africa nation.

Kenya has seen a drop in tourist arrivals in recent months following a string of gun and grenade attacks blamed on the group or its sympathisers.

In May explosions in Nairobi and the coastal city of Mombasa led Britain, the United States, France and Australia to issue warnings about travel to the east African country, and at least 400 tourists cut short their holidays and left hotels along the Indian Ocean coast.

Kenya called the alerts "unfriendly", saying they would increase panic and play into the hands of those behind the assaults.

Sarah Palin: If Congress Had “Guts”, They’d Impeach Obama

Sarah Palin Joins Senate Candidate Joe Miller At Campaign Rally In Anchorage

Sarah Palin: If Congress Had “Guts”, They’d Impeach Obama

The Obama administration has virtually thrown open the southern border of our country.  They are making minimal efforts, if any, to guard against illegal immigration and criminal activity.  Border Patrol agent’s hands have been tied, and states are having todefend the border by themselves.

They have even been advertising to the various central American countries, letting their populations know that they are welcome in America, telling them about food stamps, health care, and other benefits, like a future path to citizenship for them and their whole extended families.

The result is a flood of thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants flowing across our border, mostly unaccompanied children, because they know they won’t be sent back home.  It has turned into a real humanitarian crisis.

Sign up for our weekly newsletter right now:

Sarah Palin addressed this crisis in a post on her Facebook page, calling on Congress to find the guts to address the root of this problem, the Obama administration.  She also encourages people to replace their representatives in Congress if they don’t have the guts to do something.

Finally, they have won me over. I actually agree with the liberals’ war whoop. I, too, demand that this issue of young illegal aliens flooding across our border into horrendous conditions be taken care of. Now! Uncompassionate people, wake up! Though it’s claimed by Democrats ad nauseam to justify more spending to pile on our $17 trillion debt, and it’s applied to every single “crisis” their policies conjure up, and no matter the cause you’re labeled a racist if you disagree with their policies, well, this time it really IS for the children.

I say this as a mother – a bleeding-heart compassionate woman and mother. I say, how dare anyone turn a blind eye and further harden your horrid heart when you see these pictures snuck out of the innocent children’s holding pens – snuck out because our government is censoring images released. It must be my (former) friends in the GOP ordering this censorship because Democrat leadership knows better than to EVER spy on or censor the press; they’d NEVER infringe on the First Amendment.

These thousands of hungry, innocent children rushing in through Mexico are just the tip of the Sedona Red Rocks (granted, some of these illegals are 18-year-old men whom you wouldn’t want to mess with, but, still, according to Obamacare we now dub young adults “children” until they’re 26, so…). Expect to see hundreds of thousands of another country’s children walk right through our welcoming open border, counting on America’s families to render all aid. We owe it to ourselves to be prepared – so, work even harder, working class, while our President uses his trustworthy discernment to redistribute your paycheck, because it IS for the children, after all. And it takes a village, don’t you know?

It’s already hard to recognize our once exceptional nation amidst the neglect of this issue of children used as political pawns. Can you imagine this disregard for child safety happening even a short decade ago? The press would have had none of it, and they’d shine light on what the underlying problem is. They’d report that it’s not the innocent babes’ fault, would attempt to get to the bottom of it, and then finally they’d blame Bush. Today, that approach is ignored. They just blame Bush. There is a loud and aggressive invitation to illegals of all ages and from all countries to “kick off your shoes and come on in!” Now that’s Southern Hospitality! It’s sent by foreign leaders and our own. C’mon, with all the free stuffwe can supply everyone, how can anyone turn this down? Government will have to grow enormously to accommodate this influx, and services and care will inevitably have to be rationed, but like we teach our children – we’re all better off being disciplined! And isn’t sharing our resources okay as long as we have trustworthy, compassionate career politicians in charge of the nation’s priorities? Remember, our Republic has been blessed because we committed to nurture a caring, compassionate, pro-child, law abiding citizenry. And because of those mores, it’s unconscionable to take any more of this chaos and crisis. I say, enough is enough. This issue of the children MUST be addressed.

Hang on to your hat, because here’s the issue: Barack Obama has orchestrated this newest “crisis” in order to overload the system with the intention of “fixing” the problems his own policies create – by fiat, and that infamous phone and pen; screw the rule of law. He’s warned you by proudly claiming his executive orderscan bypass the peoples’ representatives and obviously ignore the will of the people.

Congress and American voters, how long will you let Team Obama get away with this? The recent avalanche of devastating crises caused by a president believing he is above the law has set the most dangerous precedent a once-free people can imagine. To encourage and reward lawlessness by refusing to enforce the will of the people as proven by laws passed by our political representatives is the signature of a tyrant. In this case, Obama’s refusal to enforce immigration laws and his blatant suggestion that his chosen illegal activity will be rewarded are proof of his tyrannical tactics. The recent numerous manipulated “crises” have the media pinging and ponging trying to keep up with what is the scandal of the day, which one overshadows another, and how will they distract next, and who’s on first?! Purposeful decisions causing these crises are meant to overload the system, justify abuse of executive power to “fix” it all, and ultimately tighten control of the people.

So, how much more will you take, Congress and We the People? I sense not enough guts in D.C. to file impeachment charges against Team Obama for their countless documented illegalities, so the way to stop this is at the ballot box. To fundamentally restore America to her destined exceptionalism you must get involved and then get to that box. Use YOUR phone and pen to support conservative candidates who will fight for what is right: Constitutionally protected freedom, respected military, free markets to create jobs, and secured borders to protect jobs! We need your help to do this; it takes more than a village to fortify the homeland. ANYONE associated with support for Obama’s deceptive ploys that would stoop to using and abusing innocent children must be voted out of office. ANYONE who has shined the boot that Obama’s put on the neck of our economy and security must be held accountable by those with the legal power to do so – Congress. And then We the People hold Congress accountable. Do not vote for any politician who has gone wobbly on their commitment to respect the will of the people and to fight to defend our Constitution. This wishy-washy status quo has got to go.

It IS for the children.

Sarah Palin is right, this “crisis” is a direct result of Obama’s nonexistent border security policy.  He is working to erase our borders for political and ideological reasons, with not a care for existing laws regarding border security and immigration.  This is tyranny.

And while Obama encourages more illegal immigrants to cross our border, showering them with promises of various benefits, he has ignored the crisis in our VA system, leaving our veterans languishing on waiting lists and suffering with sub-par services.  This is un-American.

In the meantime, while Obama encourages more illegal immigration and releases criminal illegal immigrants onto our streets instead of deporting them, he leaves Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi rotting in a Mexican prison.

Haven’t We Already Done Enough Damage in Iraq?

Here is Campaign for Liberty Chairman Ron Paul’s Texas Straight Talk on why the latest violence in Iraq is yet more evidence of the folly of the US invasion, and in no way justifies an increased military presence in that nation. Under Dr. Paul’s leadership, Campaign for Liberty will oppose any attempts to drag the American people into another no-won, unconstitutional Mid-East war.

Haven’t We Already Done Enough Damage in Iraq?

In 2006, I invited the late General Bill Odom to address my Thursday Congressional luncheon group. Gen. Odom, a former NSA director, called the Iraq war “the greatest strategic disaster in American history,” and told the surprised audience that he could not understand why Congress had not impeached the president for pushing this disaster on the United States. History continues to prove the General’s assessment absolutely correct.

In September, 2002, arguing against a US attack on Iraq, I said the following on the House Floor:

No credible evidence has been produced that Iraq has or is close to having nuclear weapons. No evidence exists to show that Iraq harbors al Qaeda terrorists. Quite to the contrary, experts on this region recognize Hussein as an enemy of the al Qaeda and a foe to Islamic fundamentalism.

Unfortunately, Congress did not listen.

As we know, last week the second largest city in Iraq, Mosul, fell to the al-Qaeda allied Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Last week an al-Qaeda that had not been in Iraq before our 2003 invasion threatened to move on the capitol, Baghdad, after it easily over-ran tens of thousands of Iraqi military troops.

The same foreign policy “experts” who lied us into the Iraq war are now telling us we must re-invade Iraq to deal with the disaster caused by their invasion! They cannot admit they were wrong about the invasion being a “cakewalk” that would pay for itself, so they want to blame last week’s events on the 2011 US withdrawal from Iraq. But the trouble started with the 2003 invasion itself, not the 2011 troop withdrawal. Anyone who understands cause and effect should understand this.

The Obama administration has said no option except for ground troops is off the table to help the Iraqi government in this crisis. We should not forget, however, that the administration does not consider Special Forces or the CIA to be “boots on the ground.” So we may well see Americans fighting in Iraq again.

It is also likely that the administration will begin shipping more weapons and other military equipment to the Iraqi army, in the hopes that they might be able to address the ISIS invasion themselves. After years of US training, costing as much as $20 billion, it is unlikely the Iraqi army is up to the task. Judging from the performance of the Iraqi military as the ISIS attacked, much of that money was wasted or stolen.

A big US government weapons transfer to Iraq will no doubt be favored by the US military-industrial complex, which stands to profit further from the Iraq meltdown. This move will also be favored by those in Washington who realize how politically unpopular a third US invasion of Iraq would be at home, but who want to “do something” in the face of the crisis. Shipping weapons may be an action short of war, but it usually leads to war. And as we have already seen in Iraq and Syria, very often these weapons fall into the hands of the al-Qaeda we are supposed to be fighting!

Because of the government’s foolish policy of foreign interventionism, the US is faced with two equally stupid choices: either pour in resources to prop up an Iraqi government that is a close ally with Iran, or throw our support in with al-Qaida in Iraq (as we have done in Syria). I say we must follow a third choice: ally with the American people and spend not one more dollar or one more life attempting to re-make the Middle East. Haven’t we have already done enough damage?

California Measles: 85% of Those Contracting It Are Fully Vaccinated

measles vaccines

By Catherine J. Frompovich

Saturday, June 14, 2014, around 10AM while having breakfast, this writer was listening to KYW 1060 All News Radio, a CBS affiliate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when to her great surprise she heard a news report that caught her off-guard. Why off-guard? Well, it was a report, plus statistics, regarding measles and the percentage of those contracting the disease who are fully vaccinated. Paraphrasing, the report went something like this, since she cannot locate it on the Internet or KYW’s home page:

The current all-time-high measles outbreak in California since measles was ‘eradicated’ due to vaccines and vaccinations, has local health authorities stumped because 85% of those contracting measles were fully vaccinated!

What an admission – and over the airwaves! That’s something vaccine safety advocates have warned about but health authorities deliberately ignore while continually contending it is the non-vaccinated who are spreading measles. Wake up, people!

In that unvarnished KYW news clip, the facts finally had been stated publicly, however, not to be reported again on KYW, and apparently sanitized from the radio station’s news reporting and archives.

So, why was such a candid statement about measles and vaccines/vaccinations permitted to slip through news monitoring filters? Was it too early in the weekend schedule? Was the regular editor off duty? Did someone who knows the real facts about news censorship controls allow it to slip through? Who knows? But, you can be certain that it apparently had to be pulled from further reporting because it was not in keeping with the party line regarding vaccines, vaccinations, and that non-vaccinated children are the cause of disease outbreaks.

The report I heard mentioned that there were 80 cases of measles. Trolling the Internet, I found that back in April of 2014 “a shocking 49 measles cases” [1] had been reported, “up from only four at this time last year”.

Here’s something that authorities should implement immediately, I think: In any and all infectious disease case reports, it should be mandatory by HHS/CDC, plus state and local health authorities, to report the following: (a) whether the individual has been vaccinated; (b) the type(s) of vaccine(s); and (c) vaccination dates, since some infectious diseases can be caused by what’s referred to as “shedding.”

The Need for Accurate Statistical Reporting

Now, I’d like to cite a perfect example to illustrate the imperative need for accurate statistical reporting rather than oblique ‘data’.

In the About.com Health Pediatrics Measles Outbreak 2014 website, we see a listing of measles outbreaks in various U.S. localities, but it does not report how many individuals are/were vaccinated. However, and rather ironically, some apparently irresponsible, rather aspersion-like comments are implied, it seems, toward the unvaccinated, e.g.:

A partially vaccinated adult in Utah who contracted measles while traveling in Europe. (2014)

Two cases of measles in Johnson County, Kansas, including an unvaccinated child. (2014)

A person in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania who exposed other people in Harrisburg and Middletown. (2014)

Another case in Virginia, an adult who exposed people at a lot of places throughout Fairfax, Loudoun and Arlington counties in Virginia; Montgomery County in Maryland and Washington, D.C. (2014)

Two more cases in Clay County, Missouri, the mother and sibling of an unvaccinated infant who developed measles after traveling out of the country. (2014)

An unvaccinated infant in Clay County, Missouri who had recently returned from an international trip. (2014)

Someone, somewhere in Tennessee. (2014) [What kind of accurate statistic is that? Someone somewhere! A rather unbelievable and unnerving statistical report.]

At least 32 people in six Ohio counties in an outbreak that began among Amish who had traveled to the Philippines. (2014)

At least 26 people in five Ohio counties in an outbreak that began among Amish who had traveled to the Philippines. (2014) [Is this the same as the above? Too coincidental!]

A partially vaccinated 19-month-old in Hennepin County, Minnesota who had traveled out of the country. (2014)

At least 13 people in Holmes County and Knox County, Ohio which began among an Amish-Mennonite Organization that traveled to the Philippines. (2014) [Are these the same people cited in two ‘statistics’ above?]

Another case of measles in New York City. (2014) [Vaccinated or not?]

An unvaccinated person in Maricopa County, Arizona who had recently returned from Europe and who likely exposed people at the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and other areas in Phoenix and Scottsdale. (2014)

An unvaccinated infant who exposed others at the Portland International Airport. (2014)

Two more cases of measles in NYC, bringing the total case count to 21 – 10 kids and 11 adults, with most of the children either intentionally not vaccinated or too young to be vaccinated. (2014)

Two unrelated cases with unknown sources in Farifield County, Connecticut, including an unvaccinated adult and a 7-month old infant, who was too young to be vaccinated. (2014)

An unvaccinated man in Rhode Island, who may have exposed people to measles at two area hospitals and a CVS in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. (2014)

Two unvaccinated family members of the University of California student who had contracted measles following a trip to the Philippines. (2014)

Another suspected case of measles in Hawaii, an unvaccinated toddler (delayed immunization) that was exposed (in a doctor’s office) to the unvaccinated infant with measles that had traveled to the Philippines a few weeks ago. (2014)

Two more cases of measles among the unvaccinated, quarantined students at Crowne Hill Elementary School in Temecula, California. (2014)

An unvaccinated 11-month-old infant in Oahu, Hawaii who had just returned from the Philippines, where there has been a very large outbreak of measles in the last few years.

A student at a Temecula, California elementary school, which has led to the quarantine of at least 10 other unvaccinated students.

An unvaccinated student at the University of California, Berkeley who studied abroad in Asia and exposed others while attending classes and riding Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) between Tuesday, February 4 through Friday, February 7.

Two related cases in North Texas, including an unvaccinated 12-month-old in Collin County, Texas who contracted measles on a trip out of the country. (2014)

An unvaccinated young child who may have exposed people to measles at Albany Medical Center in New York. (2014)

An unvaccinated student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. The student had signed a waiver to allow them to attend the college without the otherwise required vaccine. (2014)

Someone in California – the first case of 2014. [What kind of accurate statistical reporting is that? How about someone on the moon?]

All the above are taken from [Note 2] with emphasis added by this writer. However, the above lengthy exercise includes only a small portion of the stats which appear on that About.com website. What the above exercise is designed to point out is this:

Those who were not vaccinated; or those probably implied to not have been vaccinated, e.g., the Amish; or those partially-vaccinated apparently were reported in order to make them a ‘statistically-proven’ issue that unvaccinated or not-fully-vaccinated persons are causing outbreaks of measles or other diseases.

What are the facts?

However, from an apparent statistical converse, readers rightfully may assume that those who contracted measles, but do not have vaccination status applied, were fully vaccinated. If that’s the case, then the 85 percent measles contraction rate—or more—in California is valid and a statistical fact! Furthermore, the media, health authorities and others should not invent nor parrot that the unvaccinated are the cause of current measles outbreaks across the country when, in actuality, it is the fully-vaccinated who are contracting measles.

Now, here’s the absolute and incriminating part about the media’s and health agencies’ ‘smoke and mirror’ statistics routine regarding their incredible ‘blame-games’:

Percent of children ages 19-35 months vaccinated against measles, mumps, rubella: 91% (2012)

Percent of adolescents ages 13-17 years vaccinated against measles, mumps, rubella (2 doses or more): 91.4% (2012) [3] [CJF emphasis added]

Folks, that’s just about the “full Monty” for the CDC’s ‘pie-in-the-sky’ ultimate ‘herd immunity’ status!

So, therefore, those who are spreading measles are not the unvaccinated by and large, but apparently the fully-vaccinated, so don’t let anyone tell you differently. Their own figures prove it! When will they realize that they can fool some of the people some of the time, but they can’t fool all the people all of the time?

Parents are waking up to upmarket and incredible scare tactics and saying NO vaccines! That reaction probably is rightfully so in view of the adverse effects from vaccinations as attested to by the U.S. CDC’s VAERS reporting system [4], plus the almost US $3 Billion paid out to settle vaccine damage claims by the U.S. Vaccine Court and misinformation about research and statistics.

Can Healthcare Consumers Trust CDC’s Vaccine Science?

Despite all the peer-reviewed journal hype supporting vaccine safety, there also exists a body of scientific evidence that flies in the face of their apparent pseudo-science. One area, in particular, concerns the toxic effects of a long-time-used preservative, Thimerosal, which is 49.6% ethylmercury, a neurotoxin.

The June 13, 2014 Digital Journal Press Release “CDC’s Vaccine Safety Research is Exposed as Flawed and Falsified in Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journal” [5] calls attention to the fact that Thimerosal is a “developmental neurotoxin” that’s been injected into infants and toddlers, plus adults, for many years, despite contentions that it’s been removed from vaccines. This writer wrote an article proving Thimerosal still is in some vaccines.

We seriously must consider the long-term implications from using Thimerosal in vaccines regarded as ‘safe’. Can the neurotoxic effects of ethylmercury in Thimerosal have contributed to childhood neurodevelopmental problems, e.g., speech and language delay, ADHD, and autism? [5] Can Alzheimer’s be correlated with seniors who received annual flu shots containing other problematic toxins in vaccines for years?

According to Brian Hooker, PhD, et al, whose article “Methodological Issues and Evidence in Research Purporting to Show Thimerosal in Vaccines is Safe” was published in BioMed Research International [6],

There are over 165 studies that have focused on Thimerosal, an organic-mercury (Hg) based compound, used as a preservative in many childhood vaccines, and found it to be harmful. [6]

Dr. Hooker says,

Each of these papers is fatally flawed from a statistics standpoint and several of the papers represent issues of scientific malfeasance. For example, important data showing a relationship between thimerosal exposure and autism are withheld from three of the publications (Price et al. 2010, Verstraeten et al. 2003 and Madsen et al. 2003). This type of cherry-picking of data by the CDC in order to change the results of important research studies to support flawed and dangerous vaccination policies should not be tolerated. [5] [CJF emphasis added]

Furthermore,

The CDC’s current stance that Thimerosal is safe and that there is no relationship between Thimerosal and autism is based on six specific published epidemiological studies coauthored and sponsored by the CDC. [6]

The last sentence above truly is key as to why parents—and everyone—should be questioning what is regurgitated by MDs, nurses, vaccine acolytes and apologists that vaccines are ‘safe’ or free of mercury. Additionally, one has to question not only Thimerosal but numerous other toxins in all vaccines and how they negatively impact the central nervous system and basically ‘castrate’ the immune system by creating their interpretation of immunity—an adaptive immune response. [7]

This Writer’s Conclusions

Notwithstanding all the above, there’s an improbable question this writer finds herself asking, which is: “Have the measles and other vaccines become weaponized since vaccines, in theory at least, should be protecting and not allowing infection(s) or negatively impacting events to harm infants, toddlers, teens, and adults?”

Contraction of measles indicates the immune system has been compromised—if not addled by ineffective and/or unsafe mandated childhood vaccines with neurotoxins and toxic chemicals. Otherwise, measles and other infectious diseases would not occur in partially- or fully-vaccinated vaccinees, who contract and can spread diseases for which they have been vaccinated against, e.g., pertussis—whooping cough.

No wonder California health authorities are perplexed. They cannot believe that their fairytales about vaccines are not holding true. If you ask me, I think everyone needs a reality check when it comes to what amounts to a religious belief system that perpetuates the vaccine meme.

Finally, I’d like to introduce another dimension as to why infectious diseases may be on the upswing. The culprit is chemtrails—those chemical trails in the sky sprayed as part of weather geo-engineering.

The particulates sprayed, including nanoparticles, are breathed into our lungs and impact our immune system thereby creating heretofore unknown biological anomalies and probable altered immune responses. Couple the aforesaid with vaccine-created “adaptive immunity responses” and humans probably are heading toward no immunity capabilities.

Here’s a listing of chemicals and toxic metals being sprayed in California and probably along the entire West Coast thereby contributing to outbreaks of other infectious diseases in Oregon, Washington State and elsewhere in the USA.

The chemical and biological interactions taking place in the human race as a whole comprise one gigantic experiment that no one knows how—or if—it will end.

ISIS and the Plan to Balkanize the Middle East

ISIS AND THE PLAN TO BALKANIZE THE MIDDLE EAST
CIA's Benghazi weapons used by ISIS in conquest of Iraq

by KURT NIMMO | INFOWARS.COM | JUNE 15, 2014

The corporate media reports ISIS in Iraq received many of its weapons as a result of the Iraqi retreat from Mosul. ISIS, however, had plenty of weapons prior to the takeover. Most came from the United States.

The U.S. and Saudi sponsored proxy war in Syria to topple the government of al-Assad provided the terror group with its weapons, according to Michael Knights, the Lafer Fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy who is described by Vox as “an obsessive ISIS watcher.”

“The war gave them a lot of access to heavy weaponry,” Knights told Vox.

Following the overthrow of Libya, the CIA and its partners moved weapons into Syria. The murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens was collateral damage in this operation. The Senate Intelligence Committee report on Benghazi released last September dwells on the failure to protect Stevens and his staff. It also ignores the underlying operation.

Seymour Hersh, the award-winning investigative journalist who was unceremoniously dumped by The New Yorker due to his penchant for exposing uncomfortable truths, explained how the Senate buried information about the CIA and the gun-running operation in Benghazi:

A highly classified annex to the report, not made public, described a secret agreement reached in early 2012 between the Obama and Erdoğan administrations. It pertained to the rat line. By the terms of the agreement, funding came from Turkey, as well as Saudi Arabia and Qatar; the CIA, with the support of MI6, was responsible for getting arms from Gaddafi’s arsenals into Syria. A number of front companies were set up in Libya, some under the cover of Australian entities. Retired American soldiers, who didn’t always know who was really employing them, were hired to manage procurement and shipping. The operation was run by David Petraeus, the CIA director who would soon resign when it became known he was having an affair with his biographer. (A spokesperson for Petraeus denied the operation ever took place.)

The operation had not been disclosed at the time it was set up to the congressional intelligence committees and the congressional leadership, as required by law since the 1970s. The involvement of MI6 enabled the CIA to evade the law by classifying the mission as a liaison operation. The former intelligence official explained that for years there has been a recognized exception in the law that permits the CIA not to report liaison activity to Congress, which would otherwise be owed a finding. (All proposed CIA covert operations must be described in a written document, known as a ‘finding’, submitted to the senior leadership of Congress for approval.) Distribution of the annex was limited to the staff aides who wrote the report and to the eight ranking members of Congress – the Democratic and Republican leaders of the House and Senate, and the Democratic and Republicans leaders on the House and Senate intelligence committees. This hardly constituted a genuine attempt at oversight: the eight leaders are not known to gather together to raise questions or discuss the secret information they receive.

The annex didn’t tell the whole story of what happened in Benghazi before the attack, nor did it explain why the American consulate was attacked. ‘The consulate’s only mission was to provide cover for the moving of arms,’ the former intelligence official, who has read the annex, said. ‘It had no real political role.’

ISIS Gets Weapons From Its Master

In April we reported on the fact the U.S. provides weapons to al-Nusra and other terrorists groups in Syria by way of its allegedly vetted “moderate” mercenaries. Jamal Maarouf, who runs the Syrian Revolutionary Front (SRF) created by the CIA and Saudi and Qatari intelligence, said if “the people who support us [U.S., Saudis, Qataris] tell us to send weapons to another group, we send them. They asked us a month ago to send weapons to Yabroud [a city in Syria] so we sent a lot of weapons there. When they asked us to do this, we do it.”

According to Barak Barfi, a research fellow for the globalist funded New America Foundation, al-Nusra, the al-Qaeda-linked group known for summarily executing Syrian soldiers and other atrocities (including beheading Christians), receives weapons indirectly from SRF.

The professed leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was instrumental in the creation of al-Nusra. Following a power struggle between the two groups, al-Baghdadi announced the dissolution of Jabhat al-Nusra and the integration of its members into the Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham, or ISIS.

“ISIS quickly announced its areas of operations publicly and took control of wide areas without facing much resistance, benefitting from the Jabhat al-Nusra fighters who defected to ISIS,” reportsal-Monitor. “Some estimates suggest that about 65% of Jabhat al-Nusra elements quickly declared their allegiance to ISIS. Most of those were non-Syrian jihadists. Entire brigades joined ISIS, among them was the Mujahedeen Shura Council led by Abu al-Atheer, whom ISIS appointed emir of Aleppo, and Jaish al-Muhajireen and al-Ansar, led by Omar al-Chechani.”

Earlier this month, Obama’s top foreign policy advisor, Susan Rice, admitted the United States is providing lethal weapons to the “moderates” in Syria, although she did not mention the transfer of these arms to al-Nusra and, we can reasonably assume, other radical Islamic groups.

“We are certainly concerned that the fact that [ISIS] has gotten its hands on so many weapons, both in Syria and Iraq, is a very serious security concern for both countries,” State Department Deputy Press Secretary Marie Harf told reporters recently.

ISIS shows off its weapons.

The Pentagon is also sticking to the story ISIS picked up its equipment from retreating Iraqi security forces.

“They’re driving some of these vehicles, they’re in possession of some of this stuff, but I’d be loathe to tell you that we actually have a really solid sense of what they’ve got,” Pentagon Press SecretaryRear Adm. John Kirby told reporters Friday.

Most of the “stuff” Kirby mentioned came from the United States with the assistance of Saudi Arabia and Qatar and the CIA, with support from MI6, as Hersh notes. It was transferred from stowed caches in Libya. The arms will now be used to enlarge the perception that ISIS is a serious threat requiring direct intervention by the United States, particularly in Syria where the proxy war against al-Assad has stalled.

Plan to Break Middle East into Ethic and Religiously Divided Vassal States

Back in 2006 Army Lt. Col. (ret.) Ralph Peters “suggested that a reimagining of Middle Eastern and Asian borders along ethnic, sectarian and tribal lines might ease regional tensions,” the Armed Forces Journal reported.

How Lt. Col. Ralph Peters and the neocons see Iraq divided.

How Lt. Col. Ralph Peters and the neocons see Iraq divided.

“Syria’s prime location and muscle make it the strategic center of the Middle East,” Robin Wrightwrote for The New York Times last September in an article noting Peters’ map of a rearranged Middle East. “Syria’s unraveling would set precedents for the region, beginning next door. Until now, Iraq resisted falling apart because of foreign pressure, regional fear of going it alone and oil wealth that bought loyalty, at least on paper. But Syria is now sucking Iraq into its maelstrom.”

Iraq now appears closer than ever to dividing along religious and sectarian lines. In fact, this was the plan all along. It was previously envisioned by the Bush neocons who penned A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm. The document created by the Study Group on a New Israeli Strategy Toward 2000 called for overthrowing Saddam Hussein and waging a proxy war against al-Assad in Syria.

Prior to the Clean Break document, Oded Yinon wrote The Zionist Plan for the Middle East. It proposed “that all the Arab states should be broken down, by Israel, into small units” and the “dissolution of Syria and Iraq later on into ethnically or religiously unique areas such as in Lebanon, is Israel’s primary target on the Eastern front in the long run.” The destruction of the Arab and Muslim states, Yinon suggested, would be accomplished from within by exploiting their internal religious and ethnic tensions.

P2OG In Action

ISIS is described as a manifestation of al-Qaeda’s influence. However, it would be more accurate to call it a manifestation of the Pentagon under the influence of the Bush neocons. In 2005, Frank Morales cited a Pentagon document suggesting the creation of P2OG, or Proactive, Preemptive Operations Group.

According to a classified document prepared for Rumsfeld by his Defense Science Board, the new organization – the “Proactive, Preemptive Operations Group (P2OG)” – would actually carry out secret missions designed to provoke terrorist groups into committing violent acts. The P2OG, a 100-member, so-called “counter-terrorist” organization with a $100-million-a-year budget, would ostensibly target “terrorist leaders,” but according to P2OG documents procured by Arkin, would in fact carry out missions designed to “stimulate reactions” among “terrorist groups” – which, according to the Defense Secretary’s logic, would subsequently expose them to “counter-attack” by the good guys. In other words, the plan is to execute secret military operations (assassinations, sabotage, “deception”) which would intentionally result in terrorist attacks on innocent people, including Americans – essentially, to “combat terrorism” by causing it!

In the case of ISIS stimulation was apparently not enough to get the desire result. The terrorist organization was assisted by the CIA and its partners with weapons delivered from Libya to “moderates” in Syria who then transferred the arms to ISIS and other terrorist groups, including al-Nusra.

ISIS may in fact create a brutal caliphate – or it may be bombed back into the Stone Age, a solutionchampioned by Sen. Lindsey Graham and other neocons in Congress.

Either way, the plan to fragment and balkanize the Arab and Muslim Middle East will be realized. The Kurds in Iraq have established a de facto state in response to ISIS and Iran has pledged to help defend Shia Iraqis in the south. All of this activity promotes the plan to unravel the Middle East in a more dramatic and significant way than it was originally unraveled and recomposed by the British more than century ago.
